The location is amazing. Next to Copacabana Palace. Everything we wanted was walking distance. If you can, the Luxo room is beautiful with a corner and views of the water and boardwalk. The breakfast is ok if you want something fast but there are so many other options within a few blocks. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Restaurant at Hotel Windsor Excelsior: NEVER AGAIN!!!
This Easter Sunday, 05/04/2026, I decided to have lunch at the restaurant of Windsor Excelsior. All very nice, attentive and friendly service. The salads were delicious, but the hot dishes disappointed: a paella rala, without flavor, with very few seafood, a "spiritual bacon" equally tasteless and very dry, and a salty and tasteless boyfriend fillet. I left the plate aside. The desserts were a feast for the eyes, but all excessively sweet and unpleasant. The "chocolate mousse" was a firm and compact mingau. Price of buffet: 190 reais, out drinks and the sink. The "cake cherry" was offered to me at the exit. After paying my bill, I headed to the office and requested a cab from the gate captain. He looked at me and recommended walking to the N.S. de Copacabana Avenue to "take a taxi because there are many". Shocked, I left. Details: I am old, I was alone, elegantly dressed. The street was full of people coming from the beach, with a lot of confusion and the danger of always. On the same day, I sent a complaint by email and another directly on the hotel website. I follow without any answer. Hotel Windsor Excelsior, never again.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use some updating, but everything was clean and functional. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which definitely made the stay more pleasant.

Windsor Copacabana
Hotel on the first line, good breakfasts, plenty of restaurant space, no line.
The standard room has no kettle, there is no welcome free water, the mine bar has small bottles of water , all it took was a pill.
Hearing between numbers.
Night street work.
Cleaning is good.
There are many restaurants nearby simple and beachy.
The rooftop pool, but we weren't there.
