Excellent cost-benefit.

Perfect place to stay in Alter do Chão. The Mood is ideal for those who visit the Amazon, as it is in the middle of a forest. Chalets extremely clean, decorated with a lot of charm and good care. Very polite and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.

Disappointment with noise

PROS: very kind staff, delicious coffee and great clothing. CONTRA: NOISE. The Jarina room, with floor and wooden ceiling, is between the restaurant and a viewpoint. The choice of the most distant hostel (yes, there are 20 minutes of sun 36° to the village) was given by the possibility of a quiet rest, to wake up with the sound of the woods. It was 7 days waking up with a dishwasher, dishes and most importantly, with guests talking with if they were inside the room. It's absurd. That they had warned at least I have the option to choose another room or guest house.

Wonderful hostel, reception needs to improve

Wonderful guesthouse, in the middle of the woods with the sound of birds and smell of forest, very good cleaning Service, a compliment the breakfast girls who are super nice always offering something different to taste, is away from the center but the staff call taxi the time they need (tariff at 20,00). What needs to be improved is the reception, after 2 days at home I was contacted by whats to pay for the consumption that we had in our stay, fortunately I had paid in the card and sent the proof, if I had paid in cash I would have to pay again, since they did not deliver proof and did not present me the relationship of the items, I myself was remembering what we had consumed and the receptionist was adding, they apologized and said that it was internal failure, serious failure I found, is the tip for who to stay!

Be careful when booking on Booking or Airbnb!

I made a booking through Airbnb, confirmed months in advance, and yet the guesthouse simply decided not to comply. The service was terrible: little desire to help, no solution offered and still tried to get us to cancel the reservation, when it was the place itself that gave up.
All very messy, it seems that they sell more rooms than they actually have (the famous overbooking), which leaves the customer in hand. Glad we found out before we got there. Those thinking of booking, do it very carefully.

Pousada does not honor bookings made and confirmed for months. Beware of overbooking!

The Enterprise keeps profiles on platforms like Booking and Airbnb, confirms bookings made through these platforms, but then refuses to honor the bookings made. The customer service officer, Mr. Francis, does not commit in any way to solve the issues that are brought to him, and still asks the customer to cancel the booking made and confirmed months ago, when the cancellation came at the initiative of the own guesthouse. Absolute disorganization, with overbooking potential and headaches to customers. Delay in Processing and zero problem solving. Fortunately, my girlfriend and I detected this before we arrived at the venue and heard that they would not honor the reservation, but we recommend very careful future customers.
