A successful vacation
Worth a try in any season.Nice location,very good accommodation. pool nice. Spacious clean rooms, very good restaurant. The city of veliko Tarnovo is worth 4 km.It is advisable to take a taxi cost approximately six Bulgarian Leva

Bad services, fake food
First we got a room with an awful smell in a bathroom. And without a shower cabin, you are supposed to wash directly on the floor.
With some discussions at the reception we succeeded to have it changed, even though initially was 'no free room'.
Worth mentioning that we asked for a king size bed,they did the reservation but did not mention that only separated beds are available.
Then we tried to find a table for lunch. Nobody was paying attention to us, and when we finally sat at one, a waiter appeared asking us to free it up, everything was reserved. It was later that we found out that not all the tables were occupied, but the waiter was too rude to tell us.
Breakfast - is self service, only instant coffe served in plastic cups,the same for the tea.
What made my nerves up most was the fake butter and the fake honey.
As it was written on packaging the Butterland butter was actually 61% oil palm, and the honey was no honey but glucose fructose syrup with preservatives...
We had been in Izvora in 2011, but there was other service level and products.
Now it does not worth the effort to come here, nor the money.

Excellent hotel
The hotel is very nice with some old-chic touch in the interior. The hotel is rated only one star which means nothing for this hotel in particular. The swimming pool is very nice and the rooms very comfortable. If your room faces the swimming pool, it can be noisy. The staff was very friendly and overall I highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is not great in terms of food. However restaurant's garden is very nice. If you are with kids, they will love it, since there are some animals and birds.

Great stay
I really enjoyed my stay here, clean rooms, friendly staff, powerful shower, and good bed.
The swimming pool was not open yet but it was only beginning of april so still early in the year.

Тhe breakfast was poor and low quality
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights,B&B. The room was big enough, but the maid was quite lazy. She didn't put sheets on our extra blankets and tried to leave the room like that. After some explanations at the reception desk, it was done, but the question about the service remains. The room was dusty and there was some strange smell of moisture in the bathroom.
Our big disappointment was the breakfast after our first night. In the restaurant, they gave us 2-3 slices of tomatos and cucumbers, 2 slices of ham and half of a egg for each of us! HALF. They devided 1 egg in order to put it in our two plates.
The next day, the breakfast was different, in was a buffet. I sent a request via email to have some explanation about the first day, and the Hotel Manager sent me his answer that the first day there werent so many guests in the hotel, so they offered a "complete breakfast". I asked is it normal to serve half of a egg, and I didn't get any response.
I would not stay another time in this hotel. the management is arrogant and the staff is lazy. Would not recommend it to you.
