Hotel Palace Sunny Beach review
We had a really great stay at Hotel Palace and would definitely come back.
The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes from the beach and close to restaurants, shops and everything you need. Despite being so close to everything, we found the hotel surprisingly quiet at night and had no problems with noise or getting a good night's sleep.
Our room was clean, comfortable and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. Everything worked as it should and we had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which was a nice place to relax during the day.
The best part for us though was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and whenever we asked for something, they were always happy to help. You could tell they genuinely wanted guests to enjoy their stay, which made the whole experience even better. Really good value for money, especially considering the location, service and overall experience.
We had a lovely time here and honestly don't have anything negative to say. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Palace for looking after us and making our holiday so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sunny Beach.

Not good
After going to the palace for 10yrs it has drastically gone down hill food cold less choices than previous years cleaning not that good sadly we will not be returning

Feels like a homecoming!!!
Fantastic hotel and, above all, fantastic people. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming and always go the extra mile to make you feel looked after.
We’ve known Palace for around 20 years and have so many wonderful memories here. What I love most is that, after all these years, it still manages to give us that same feeling of being welcomed, cared for and able to simply relax and enjoy our holiday.
Great location, lovely atmosphere, excellent service and, in my opinion, great value for money. There’s a reason we keep coming back — it never disappoints.

Worst stay ever
Unfortunately, our experience at the Palace Hotel has been absolutely awful, and I would not recommend staying here.
We have been here for a week and our room has not been cleaned once. During the entire stay, we have only been given one set of different towels, which is completely unacceptable.
The pool has apparently only been cleaned once during the whole week, which is extremely disappointing.
The bathroom/shower area is terrible. Every time the shower is used, water gets absolutely everywhere, including all over the toilet. There is also a horrendous smell coming from the drains, to the point where it smells like there is a dead animal somewhere underneath.
The condition of the room is also very poor. The curtains are falling off and one of the lights doesn’t work. These are basic things that should be checked and maintained before guests arrive.
The food is absolutely disgusting and has been one of the biggest disappointments of the stay. There is very little that we have actually wanted to eat.
To make matters worse, we have found some of the staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful when raising these issues.
Overall, the standard of cleanliness, maintenance, food and customer service is nowhere near what we expected from a hotel. We paid to come away on holiday and instead have spent the week dealing with problems that should never be acceptable in the first place.
I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are considering booking this hotel.

AWFUL
We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and would not return.
The cleanliness was completely unacceptable. Our room was only “tidied” once during the entire week, and even then it was little more than a clean bedsheet being put on the bed. Towels were only changed after I had to go down to reception and ask for fresh ones myself.
The bathroom had visible mould and an awful smell throughout our stay. There was dust everywhere and the room felt very unclean from the moment we arrived.
The pool area was no better. The pool appeared to be cleaned only once during the whole week. The sunbeds were constantly sticky and dirty, and the floor around the pool was so filthy that you could not comfortably walk on it without footwear.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we struggled to sleep every night. The pillows were clearly very old and falling apart, with the filling separated into sections.
The worst part of the stay was the service. We ordered food in the bar and only one meal was brought to the table. When we politely asked why, the waiter became argumentative and told us to “just eat it when it comes.” He was waving his arms around and repeatedly came back to continue the argument, which was completely unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Overall, this hotel fell far below an acceptable standard for cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.
