Fabulous resort and spa hotel to begin with which is now even better with renovated and additional pool and spa facilities. A must stay stay when in Bulgaria

Stay away from here

Terrible hotel.
Lack of service and client friendlyness.
The hotel is located in a non spa / green zone in the middle of a city surrounded by old high buildings.
The massages in the pools are not working. It is just a basic pool filled with people and kids.
The spa centre is basic and again most of it does not work.
The rooms are facing humidity issues.
The food does not meet international dietary standards

Amazing SPA experience, forest hills view

The location is very nice as you can walk around the small town, very quiet in the night. The premium room was very spacious, clean and lovely. We loved the SPA area and the outside pools, great value to have all these saunas and massages available.
The food was amazing for both breakfast and dinner, many options including vegetarian, very tasty and really nice experience in the restaurant. The service is good and we really loved everything about our stay - from comfortable pillows and the huge bed, to the SPA and the view from the balcony to the forest hills around.

Ok but……..

A recently refurbished hotel with a new extension. Beautiful reception and bar area.
We have stayed here before but this time the rooms were smaller. Not sure if the rooms were divided during the renovation.
Great addition of an outdoor pool which we used daily.
Breakfast was good with a good selection to suit most people.
The bar service was a little slow but the drinks were very good.
The downside to this hotel is the increase in cost. This is not great value for Bulgaria. We had better accommodation for less in the capital Sofia. Prices have increased drastically over the past few years.
The staff are also very miserable and appear unfriendly which doesn’t give a great impression.
There are other hotels available much cheaper but maybe the facilities aren’t as good.

Nice place

A very good hotel for a few days of rest and relaxation. The rooms are big, clean, new, very well done. Beds and beds are comfortable. The outdoor pool is clean, very nice with warm water. The sunbeds are comfortable, and the umbrellas are good. The staff is friendly. The cons - breakfast and dinner do not correspond to 4 stars. The quality is not good. I recommend eating outside the hotel. Another big minus - there is absolutely nothing else in the bathroom except liquid soap and shower gel. They are so diluted with water that it is difficult to take a bath. Better bring soap. Overall the hotel is very good.
