Kendros Hotel

Very good location of the hotel, close to the Old Town of Plovdiv and the International Fair. Pleasant spacious rooms with excellent hygiene, with facilities for a peaceful holiday in silence. Courteous staff, varied breakfast.

Don't just don't

A hotel that remained in the 80s of the design, very large rooms, a malfunctioning safe, the front desk's answer is that the situation is not normal, air conditioning that makes noises of air conditioning but not a refrigerator, poor breakfast and even the coffee machine is malfunctioning, he will stay away.

Erasmus+ project

The rooms are great, large and bright, but hard to clean the air and poor wi-fi signal. The food was so and so, they had almost no idea what is a vegetarian. Only the reception staff was nice and kind, furthermore spoke English, other staff, for example the waitress, had no idea of any other language but Bulgarian. Their reception is on the second floor, so you have to carry your luggage one floor up; the elevator can be accessed only by the back side of the hotel, which was always closed, so no chance to use the elevator to enter the lobby. The hotel was located somewhere in an industrial area, which was quite ugly and boring.

Spacious room

The room is huge and clean, though the facilities are fairly basic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is okay. But location is a bit far from the city centre. It is necessary to take a taxi.

Awful

The hotel looks is located in an industrial area or something like that. It is spacious but has no athmosphere, it's somehow dark. From what I've seen I guess it's a place to visit for few hours if you urgently need a place. Some of the people on reception are extremely rude, even yelling to clients.
We had an incident there - the electricity wen down and we went out using the emergency exit. But all doors were closed, we couldn't reach reception over the phone. So we ended up being trapped by the back door for half an hour and couldn't go out. The receptionist yelled at us for using the "wrong strairway". We complained to the hotel manager and we received a plate of fruits and a bottle of wine in the room - appreciate it because it shows they understand what they did.
The air conditioner in the room was not working. The lobby bar/restaurant is extremely low level but the bartender woman is nice :)
I would never visit it again.
