It was a shame that they have a yoghurt machine, as natural Bulgarian yoghurt is the best in the world. The yoghurt from the machine was very disappointing.

So much potential
Installations are very old and maintenance is a bit lacking. A few points during my stay:
- during a power outage, I got stuck in the elevator (there's no emergency generator). When I asked for help via intercom, the person on the other side of the line did not speak English and simply hung up.
- on breakfast, juices and water come from a special machine. One day, that machine broke and the only thing they offered was tap water.
- house keeping decided, more than once, that having two towels and a rug in the bathroom was too much, so they kept removing them. When I asked the receptionist, she said "but do you need a rug?"
- toilet stopped working on the fourth day (repaired on the next one)
- the sound isolation between rooms is poor. It was not unusual to hear (very loud) couples having way too much fun during the night.
Anyway, it's clear the hotel has potential and the staff is doing their best. But there's definitely a lot of work to be done here.

Not bad
Everything was clean. No noise. Rooms are very comfortable, especially beds, but for me it was too warm in the room (like 26 celsius). Air conditioning was not controllable. Hotel staff is very friendly, but the service in the restaurant leaves a bit to be desired. I think for that price you can find better hotel in Sofia.

Close to business area but poor facilities and service
The hotel was booked as it is close to our office in Capital Fort. This is about the only thing this hotel has going for it. The main issue is there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel.The restaurant only serves breakfast! There are no walkable eateries nearby. You need to get the metro/bus to the local mall or into Sofia centre about 15-20 mins on the metro.
I had some issues with my door card. When I returned at the end of the day it would not open the door. So back down to reception from the 7th floor. This happened 3 days in succession. I then asked for the card to be changed as it may have been faulty. The receptionist then said that it was only being authorised for 24 hours.she then authorised it for the rest of the stay..no apology just "that's it fixed"
The drinks tray in the room has peppermint tea and coffee. No milk...if you want milk you need to ask reception. When I did that they don't have any! I had 1 black coffee in 3 days. Still hasn't been replenished...
Won't be staying here again and will be reporting back to the company to warn other colleagues not to use this hotel.

We always use this hotel, not only for its convenience for the airport, ( it is only 5 stops on the meteo from the airport), but because of the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, who simply can't do enough for you.
This time, we also used their long term parking facilities, which were very competitive, compared to the regular off-site airport carparks .
