Clean, comfortable, great location

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Clean, comfortable room. A little bit noisy AC. The parking space is narrow, not suitable for a large car. The breakfast was very delicious. Great coffee machine. Very frandly owners and employers.

An unpretentious budget hotel.

We stayed a weekend.Reception always deserted.You have to enter the hotel and the room with the code.Strong smell of sewer in the bathroom from 18 until the morning.The heating in the room did not work and the radiator in the bathroom was off, too bad that outside it snowed.The area where it is located is close to the center, but poorly lit.Noisy room, but well furnished.Breakfast just enough almost all salty.

Small comfortable hotel

Hotel, located very close to the center of the capital of Sofia
The reception is Virtual, that is, the day before you arrive, you are sent a code to open the door outside the Hotel, and the same code allows you to open the door of the room, in the Hall, small reception hall, you have for an infusion or coffee
The room has carpet, is small and has everything you need to be comfortable and quiet, is well air-conditioned

Some good aspects, some issues (one of them more serious)

The hotel is located close to the Medical Faculty and the National Palace of Culture.
I'd say its a walkable location as long as you're fairly fit and fairly patient - it's possible to walk up to Vitosha boulevard and the Serdika area, and down to the Patriarch Evtimiy area.
There's some good aspects (like how you get a mini fridge and a kettle, and the room was a comfortable, cool temperature), but also some less charming ones, like there was an old toothbrush and an old squeezed tube of toothpaste left in the bathroom, and the sheets were crumpled at arrival (though they didn't smell dirty, so hopefully they were laundered, just not ironed) and worn enough to have tiny holes. Breakfast was really nothing to write home about, dull and bread-based. Some people would have also needed a bigger portion, though I was more than done with bread already...
Service felt nonchalant and cold, not what you'd expect at a family hotel. The biggest issue is that the reception is only staffed parts of the day, and wasn't even reachable by phone the one time I tried to call with an issue.
I asked the reception to please help me order an airport taxi for tomorrow morning (night), so there would be no language trouble . There were several people waiting for breakfast, so I didn't wait around to see if the booking was finished. Luckily I called the taxi company myself in the night and made sure I got a booking, but if I hadn't, I could have been in serious trouble, as either the call hadn't been made, or the booking didn't go through. No communication from the hotel either way...

I paid for the best room on Booking, but they put me in a smaller room that was nothing like the photos. Of course, they didn’t mention anything. I contacted them when I realized, and they said the Luxe room I had already paid for was no longer available. No compensation offered, just a “if you’re not happy, find another hotel.” Excellent professionalism and customer service at this hotel.
