Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience.
We are delighted to hear that we exceeded your expectations and that you enjoyed your spacious room, the cleanliness, our pools and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It is especially rewarding to know that your experience differed from some of the reviews you had read before your arrival.
We also appreciate your honest observation regarding the pool bar. During the busiest hours, when the hotel is operating at full capacity, waiting times can occasionally be longer than we would like. We are continuously working to improve the speed and efficiency of our service.
Thank you once again for your kind words and for recommending our hotel. We truly hope to welcome you back to Imperial Palace Hotel in the future.
Kind regards,
Imperial Palace Hotel

Disappointed stay ,never come back
The biggest issue was the extremely long queues at both the restaurant and the bars. Almost every day we had to wait a considerable amount of time for food and drinks, turning what should have been a relaxing holiday into a constant wait. In my opinion, this reflects serious organizational shortcomings and insufficient capacity for the number of guests the hotel accommodates.
The menus did not always match what was actually available, and the quality of the beverages did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel of this category.
I was also disappointed by the condition of some of the public areas. After rainfall, there were damp and wet sections, and in some places there were visible signs that, in my opinion, suggested poor maintenance. In addition, I noticed windows that had been secured with bolts, which raised concerns about both comfort and safety.
My greatest disappointment, however, came after my stay. Instead of acknowledging that there were issues and attempting to resolve them, I received a lengthy legal-style response in which every complaint was dismissed as either “subjective” or the result of “temporary peak occupancy.” As a guest, I expected understanding and a genuine willingness to improve, not a response focused solely on defending the hotel’s position.
I work in the hospitality industry myself, and I understand that challenges can arise during periods of high occupancy. The difference is that well managed hotels address those challenges instead of making excuses for them.
Unfortunately, my overall experience did not justify the price I paid. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high quality All Inclusive holiday.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion.
We are genuinely sorry that Imperial Palace did not meet your expectations. However, after our previous communication, we believe we can at least agree on one important point.
Imperial Palace is a large resort hotel accommodating up to 1,500 guests during the peak summer season. It is a lively holiday resort, designed for guests who enjoy an active atmosphere with entertainment, sports activities, music, children's programmes and a vibrant environment throughout the day. It has built a loyal base of returning guests who choose exactly this type of holiday experience year after year.
If someone is looking for a quiet, intimate resort with only a small number of guests and a peaceful atmosphere, then Imperial Palace is probably not the right choice. We completely understand that such holidays appeal to many people, but they are simply not the concept of our hotel.
It is easy to admire the impressive appearance of a large resort when looking at photos without fully considering its scale. However, upon arrival, a hotel of this size naturally comes with a dynamic atmosphere, many families, organised activities and busy facilities during the high season. For many guests, this is exactly what they are looking for; for others, it may not be.
We respect that our hotel was not the right match for your holiday expectations. Rather than being a question of right or wrong, we believe this was largely a matter of choosing a holiday concept that did not correspond to the type of experience you were seeking.
We wish you all the best in finding a destination that better suits your preferences in the future.
Kind regards,
Imperial Palace Hotel

Big disappointment from the hotel on family vacation
To the management of the Imperial Palace Hotel,
I am writing this letter on behalf of a group of 11 people who stayed in 4 rooms at your hotel between the dates 29.7.26-7.8.26 and ordered an All Inclusive package in anticipation of a relaxing holiday, but our experience has become a disaster due to extremely poor service, a lack of basic supplies and misleading and completely unprofessional management behavior.
We demand your immediate intervention and official response on the following critical issues:
Restaurant and beverage standard unacceptable (faults in the package all included):
The food selection was repeated, scarce and not properly managed. Managing the groceries in the dining room was exceptionally poor; we had to request especially butter each time, and at two different breakfasts the crew refused to provide us with butter on the grounds that the stock was out. In addition, at one of the lunches the pizza sauce was out, and the kitchen crew simply completely stopped serving the pizzas.
Moreover, light and hot drinks were served with extreme scarcity in small disposable glasses only. When we requested to accept the drinks in slightly larger glasses (those used for brewing), the crew strongly refused. To make the situation worse, the cocktails served at the pool bar were of extremely low quality – it was better not to serve at all.
Relationship in the Dining Room:
Although we were a large group of 11 people resting together, the dining room staff strongly refused to allow us to attach tables so we could sit and eat together. We had to split up and sit apart, which completely damaged our family and social experience.
Shocking hygiene, ants strike, poor room service and scarcity:
In addition, both rooms were contaminated with ports. The level of visual and sanitary cleanliness was below any criteria: the toilets in the rooms were not cleaned for 8 days and the glasses in the room were not washed at all by the staff (cleaning work consisted solely of folding the blanket and changing towels). In addition, we experienced extreme contempt on the part of the cleaning staff; when we requested an additional shampoo bottle, the cleaner strongly refused to claim that the hotel provided only one small bottle per person every 4 days.
Lack of basic equipment in the rooms and delay in its supply
There were no basic electric compounds in the rooms. We had to go to the lobby and ask for a compound, but we got a defective device that didn't work when we wanted to replace it. We were told by the staff that they didn't have another proper compound and only after two days of waiting they were able to provide us with a proper alternative compound.
Deliberate error regarding package levels
Upon our arrival, we explicitly asked the head of reception, Diana, about the differences between the All-Inclusive Package and the All-Inclusive Plus Package. Diana falsely and deliberately assured us that the only difference is the heating beds and sunbeds on the beach. However, the next day we discovered a separate bar offering a completely different and more qualitative selection of alcohol We returned again to the head of reception and she replied to us disrespectfully that yes is another difference and it is necessary to add 15 euros per person per day because it is limited only to include plus is a clear case of consumer error and misinformation collected directly by your management.
Scandalous behavior regarding late check-out for a disabled guest:
We travel with a family member with disabilities (nack). We approached Diana to arrange and pay €60 for a late check-out on our departure day. Diana explicitly directed us to return on August 6 to make the payment. When we arrived, she told us the room was not booked yet and asked us to return the next morning at 8:00 when she arrived
On the 7th, 8th morning, we called at 9:00, just to be told that Diana was unavailable when the officer called Diana on our behalf, Diana explicitly ordered her to refuse our late check-out. When we came down for her at 11:00, the officer noticed that a special note had been inserted in the system to block our late check-out.
This vengeful, dishonest and heartless behavior on the part of a manager – especially towards a group travelling with a disabled person – is a serious violation of any hotel regulations.
We look forward to a formal explanation and appropriate solution regarding the misleading and unprofessional behavior of Director Diana, as well as the poor conditions of our stay. We will tighten the deal, including leaving detailed reviews on all major booking platforms (Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Google) and filing a formal complaint with the Bulgarian Tourism Office.
We are waiting for your quick response.
Welcome.

Extremely disappointing stay
The room itself was quite worn and outdated, especially the bathroom. But the most ridiculous part was staying in a hotel advertised as 5-star, while according to the official classification it is actually 4-star, and still having no hot water in the bathroom. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I called reception, only to be told that I was apparently the only person who had reported the problem and that they could send a technician if I wanted. So, if nobody complains, apparently the problem simply doesn’t exist?
The food was another major disappointment. The selection was repetitive, with essentially the same options every day, and food was constantly running out. We repeatedly had to wait for basic items to be refilled.
The bar situation was equally frustrating. Staff seemed far more interested in their phones than in serving guests, while an entire queue of people was waiting for something as simple as water or juice. Not exactly the level of service you expect from a hotel charging these prices.
Overall, the biggest problem is that the hotel simply cannot seem to cope with its own capacity. The result is overcrowded common areas, poor organization, long waits and service that falls far below what you would reasonably expect.
This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. Instead, we spent far too much time dealing with problems that should never have been our concern as guests.
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday, decent organization and service that matches the price you pay, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We certainly won’t be coming back.
