Friendly staff. Good location. That’s all the pros.
Ants. No elevator. No pool. Cold showers. This is a $30 hotel trying to be a $50 hotel.

Nice Colonial Style Hotel

The Columns Hotel in Kampot, Cambodia is a quaint and very nice hotel in restored French colonial shophouses. The rooms are very nice. We rented a room with a balcony and enjoyed a glas of wine on the balcony as the sun was setting. The location is good and the couple who run the place, Thavi & Kim (?) are very nice & friendly & helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Restored colonial building

Lovely room, facing front of building, had wanted a balcony but not available when we were there.
Breakfast came with fresh mini muffins, fruit and French bread.
Staff very helpful. No lift but they insisted on carrying my heavy case.

Comfort and kindness

What a friendly team with little care they don't know what to do to please you with smile and discretion
The historic building is very well located close to the center and quiet , the rooms are clean and comfortable The homemade breakfast is royal the person who serves you to the eye everywhere knows your habits and is very nice
