Good location nice hotel
But it was a nice room, best shower we’ve had in 19 days of travelling.
Road is a little grubby, but most of the city is the same.
Hired an awesome tuk tuk driver for the day $30, but we tipped him $14 as he was brilliant. Busy Commuter ferry over the Mekong to see the sunset was a highlight.
The pool bar doesn’t open until 4pm, so we were stuck up there with no beverages or food whilst waiting for our taxi to the airport on our final day. Lots of seating, but only 7 loungers (although this is more than some hotels we’ve stayed at).
As always in SE Asia, friendly staff and a warm welcome.

Charming, delightful hotel which was amazingly good value. Great food, lovely staff, fabulous sky bar and infinity pool.
It’s tucked away in a little street and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bedding and cleaning was made up every morning so beautifully.
We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool and had dinner there too. It’s a charming and cosy hotel, intimate and secluded.
Everything worked. Hot showers, great views.
The tv is a little grainy but who cares? If that’s a priority I almost feel sad for you.
The sky bar is just amazing. Dine, drink and then hop in the beautiful infinity pool for a lap or two. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had the Wednesday Steak special, 50% off. I swam everyday and it was a relaxing experience. The views at night were amazing. It’s not brash, noisy or “big-city”.
Think “charming, elegant, serene”.
The sky bar staff were a delight.
Breakfast had everything and there’s an egg station where you can order.
Almost didn’t write a review because, like most best-kept secrets, once the cat is out of the bag, you’ll all come here and I like the place just as it is. Oh well.
Then again, there is the floating breakfast which we had been looking forward to but is no longer available. I can just imagine how that might have gone, in any case, what with me cutting into my toast and tipping the lot into the pool. So if you were hoping for that, it’s a no.
Highly recommend.

great location and view from the rooftop terrace
The room was spacious and functionally furnished, but it could use a little renovation. There is a small safe, but it is not fixed, meaning it is not securely attached to the cabinet! The air conditioning worked. The Wi-Fi is free and sufficiently stable. There was a small balcony, but it was not really inviting. It was clean in general, however, if you looked into the corners and on the windowsills, you found dust and cobwebs. Unfortunately, I was greeted by a large brown stain (coffee?) on the bedspread, unmistakable (see photo).
The bathroom was spacious, but also dated. The shower door did not close properly because the seal was damaged. As a result, a puddle formed in the bathroom. The water in the shower also pools, it does not drain properly. It seems that there is not enough slope towards the drain hole. There are no hooks on the wall in either the bathroom or the room.
There is an elevator, a small foyer with seating options. The rooftop terrace is small but very beautiful, with a small pool and great views. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast selection is limited, quite decent, but not extraordinary, especially for vegetarians like me.
Conclusion: Overall, I felt comfortable. Suitable for a few nights. The hotel scores points for its location and the view. I would stay there again.
