Run away !

What can I say about Vila Agati?
First and only good thing : The area is not so far of the main street, just pray to not having rain cause you will ruin your shoes (no paved road) but still acceptable...
Room is spacious but smelled humidity , Hopefully we had a window in our cause the ones in front of the swimming pool have no windows and the smell is worst : a mix of humidity and sewage. The foreigner owner knows it but rents it anyway ... as he said it’s Cambodia ...
Breakfast is a surprise , you never know what will come , always something is missing.... as the owner said it’s Cambodia
The owner recommended us a shop massage, but after we checked around, this one was 3 times higher than the ones around (same style of course).
Kind of scam? ...
At the end, we heard some discussions between the owner and some customers, and we were shocked by his words, really insulting. In add, he did it in front of the staff and the rest of the customers. We felt very incomfortable ...and this is definetely not Cambodia.
There is plenty of hotels with local people much more welcoming, and prices are not so cheap (and for us increased between the booking and the billing ... the owner siad he made a mistake when he gave us the price ... bad luck... we wanted to go away we paid)
So i must confess I cannot recommend this place ... don’t waste your time and your money.

Perfect.

A small cocoon ideal for a stay in Siem Reap. The owner Gilles and his team are adorable and very welcoming.
It feels like home.
Close to the city center, in a quiet area. The rooms are comfortable and the pool perfect for resting.
This is my second stay at Villa Agati and I will come back!

Ideal for a few days in Siem Reap

Very neat hotel, in a peaceful location 15’ from the market. Swimming pool perfect for relaxing after visiting the 1001 temples of Angkor. Spacious room and impeccable bedding.
Gilles will help you organize during the stay.
