Great Camping Ground

Great place for a family camping spot. You’re really in the woods. Tents/ units are clean and spacious and clean . Washrooms are very clean as well as the port-a potties available. Love that you’re surrounded by trees and mountains. Safe and peaceful campground. Staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable with the area (wildlife) and helpful. Love the free bear story telling at night by the main camping playground and free rental for sports activities. Very peaceful and quiet at night.

Stayed in the glamping tent which was amazing! Clean, cozy and had a heater to keep us warm. Lots of hooks and storage and the bedding and towels were great.
Where we had some issues was the bathroom. Outhouses near by are smelly and no where to wash hands. 2 showers and 5 sinks for a whole campground of guests isn’t great. Definitely need upgrades in this area. If you come be prepared to share the bathroom with many people.

1/5 stars — Not glamping, roadside parking with a cold tent

We stayed in Trapper Tent #82 at The Sundance by Basecamp, and unfortunately it fell well short of what was advertised.
Location: Our tent was about 50m from the highway, and traffic noise was constant all night. It felt more like camping next to a freeway than in a wilderness setting.
Parking: We couldn't park near the tent, which meant repeated trips back and forth to our car for the cooler and food — not ideal after a long day.
Heating: The site description mentions a heater, but the tent itself wasn't up to the job. There were gaps in the floorboards, the door didn't seal, and the canvas wasn't fully attached to the frame, so any heat from the small kerosene heater escaped almost as fast as it was produced. Running it on high all night only got the tent about 2°C warmer than outside — with overnight lows around 2°C, that made for a genuinely cold, uncomfortable stay.
Washrooms: The washroom facilities were basic — the kind you'd expect at a $30/night campsite, not at a "glamping" property charging $300/night. The nearby outhouses were in worse shape: the hand sanitizer was empty and the light wasn't working, which isn't great when you're stumbling out there in the dark and cold.
Value: At roughly $300/night, with firewood charged extra on top, this felt overpriced for what we got. For comparison, Parks Canada's oTENTik sites at Banff National Park run about half the price and come with better amenities and a much more solid structure.
Overall, I'd expect either a lower price point or a properly insulated, sealed tent for what we paid. Wouldn't stay here again.

Didn't enjoy my stay

There was a mixup with our tents which was their fault, we were charged for items we didn't rent and it took multiple visits to the office and phone calls to straighten out, very stressful visit

The trappers tent with a heater for our 2 nights camping trip in a cold night temp is really impressive. The tent held heat much better than I expected, and the heater made a noticeable difference within the first [15–30 minutes]. However, the distance to the washrooms is a drawback. It’s a long walk from many of the campsites, which isn’t ideal for families or anyone who prefers quick access. The washrooms themselves are clean and well kept, but the layout could be more convenient.

Very good location
