Great Camping Ground

Where we had some issues was the bathroom. Outhouses near by are smelly and no where to wash hands. 2 showers and 5 sinks for a whole campground of guests isn’t great. Definitely need upgrades in this area. If you come be prepared to share the bathroom with many people.

1/5 stars — Not glamping, roadside parking with a cold tent
Location: Our tent was about 50m from the highway, and traffic noise was constant all night. It felt more like camping next to a freeway than in a wilderness setting.
Parking: We couldn't park near the tent, which meant repeated trips back and forth to our car for the cooler and food — not ideal after a long day.
Heating: The site description mentions a heater, but the tent itself wasn't up to the job. There were gaps in the floorboards, the door didn't seal, and the canvas wasn't fully attached to the frame, so any heat from the small kerosene heater escaped almost as fast as it was produced. Running it on high all night only got the tent about 2°C warmer than outside — with overnight lows around 2°C, that made for a genuinely cold, uncomfortable stay.
Washrooms: The washroom facilities were basic — the kind you'd expect at a $30/night campsite, not at a "glamping" property charging $300/night. The nearby outhouses were in worse shape: the hand sanitizer was empty and the light wasn't working, which isn't great when you're stumbling out there in the dark and cold.
Value: At roughly $300/night, with firewood charged extra on top, this felt overpriced for what we got. For comparison, Parks Canada's oTENTik sites at Banff National Park run about half the price and come with better amenities and a much more solid structure.
Overall, I'd expect either a lower price point or a properly insulated, sealed tent for what we paid. Wouldn't stay here again.
