I informed a front desk staff member that there was no soap in the men's washroom next to the eating area. He should have said thank you and checked the soap dispenser, but instead, he walked me to the washroom and asked me to prove that it was empty. I couldn't believe it! On the positive side, this lodge offers a buffet breakfast with bacon, which I rarely see at most hotels.

The AC unit stopped working 1/2 way through the night. At first, room seemed fairly clean but then we saw hair on bathroom floor in the corners, a dried splash of who knows what on the headboard, and a cash tip left by previous guests near coffee maker. The fact that the housekeeper didn’t see it - meant she/he didn’t wipe down the table between guests.

Use key in door knob lock, not upper lock. FYI door locks automatically. Don’t lock the key in your room. If this happens to you, and it did to me, lol, the manager is the BEST and will help you unlock your room. Super friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Good location. From the outside it looks quite nice, but the rooms were quite run down and in need of a refresh/renovation

This property was poorly managed and not clean. The beds were bad, washroom was unclean, the breakfast was so so. We started for two nights. I asked for fresh towels for the second night. When we returned home we found the toilet towel were left in the room and half of them fell on the floor.
