Great! Would recommend

Good, clean, inexpensive, check-in was easy, you have a fridge, microwave, kettle (though we had to plug it in at a floor outlet) desk, table, hair dryer, all amenities. Ice machine is a great bonus. Asked for more towels & got some no problem. Close to gas station, LCBO, Foodland, Canadian Tire. Pretty close to Bancroft and you can see the stars at night! I saw the big dipper for the first time ever :) I recommend getting up early and walking to Tims near Bancroft, having a coffee in Churchill Park.
Chairs were a bit dirty but I'm not fussy about that. The instant coffee sucks ass so bring your own. When cars drive by you can hear it faintly from inside the room so if you're a very sensitive sleeper & like to sleep in keep that in mind. Overall I would definitely recommend this, initially booked bc the Sword was full but thinking about it I liked being out of town a bit :)

The facility was ok, just ok. We needed room to sleep only and for that the room was good. However, being located right in hwy 62, it was loud. The cars stopped after 10 ish which was great. In the room the ac unit was noisy, but functional. Overall, the room was sufficient for us but we didn’t have the best sleep.

Could Be So Much More...

We needed a room in the vicinity of Bancroft and the Bancroft Inn and Suites was the only option with an available room. We booked a Queen Suite. Sounds nice?? The only furniture in the living room area was a sofa bed and a floor lamp with a very low wattage bulb. The bathroom had a newer shower with a black, moldy shower curtain (curtain needs to be bleached to get the black out). The bathroom also had a newer toilet. The floor had been replaced with laminate. What they neglected to do and it would've been an easy fix was redo the wallpaper, paint the door., and clean the very old baseboard heater. The wallpaper was very dingy, making their renovations look incomplete.
The kitchen area had many accoutrements but no lighting that we could see, thereby leaving the area unused if you were there for a time and needing to us the kitchen at night.
The tv's in the dining room area and bedroom wouldn't work without you turning on the wall lights, thereby leaving the wall sconce above the tv on all the time.
If you needed to work at the desk, the lighting was, at best, dim...
There were no drawers and the open closet was in the living room.
On a positive note, our bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
This property could be so much more and hopefully they have the vision to make it happen.

The property is dated but it looks like upgrades are being done. The room was clean and even though the rooms face the highway the new windows reduce the noise substantially. The bed was comfortable and the room conditioner worked great.
