Ruby was amazing. Super accommodating, and made sure we had the best experience there. Hot tub was big and clean had both steam and sauna rooms. Place was very clean, however there were a few cosmetic deficiencies/maintenance issues that I'm sure will be addressed. They were minor and did not distract from the experience, just noticeable. Parking was available and reasonable priced.

Service is his passion

The tour group that I was leading spent several pleasant evenings here. I must say that Elmer at the front desk was incredibly accommodating going above and beyond in helping us to settle in.

Upset guest

So we were supposed to go to Banff and stay at the Banff Inn this week. We had to cancel because of the smoke from the fires and I have asthma. I called the day before and asked the office and they said it was clear today. I got notification that it wasn’t and I just wanna say that Elmer the manager there was not nice at all not helpful at all actually rude. Put me on hold. Said he’d come back and never did I called three times. He didn’t want to do anything to help me. Expedia who I booked through said that they would honor waving the night that we had to pay extra $600 for if the hotel would approve it and Elmer wouldn’t even listen. He talked over me. He was terribly rude and for this reason I would never go back or recommend this hotel to anybody sometimes you have to be human and be caring about your guests .. I even suggested can I come at a later date and use that towards that he said no we don’t do that. Not nice at all. So I lost over $600 on this hotel for absolutely no reason and here I see their advertising the room again so they’re gonna make on me and on another guest. Shame on them!!

Everything was great, just need new beds - there were 2 slopes in the mattress where people sleep

This is an older hotel but well kept and clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff was helpful with planning trips. Hotel in general was quiet. Only small complaint was that I couldn't get the coffee machine in the room to work and no one came to help or fix it. Best thing was that there was free street parking usually available around the corner from the hotel.
