Good find in busy Banff

Lovely stay in 2-bedroom suite which was fully equipped for short or long stays.
There is a great indoor/outdoor pool area on the roof which connects the town vibe with the mountain views.
Service was good, and in-hotel dining ok.

Well-situated hotel in Banff

This property is well located if you want to be in the middle of the action in the town of Banff. There are dozens or more cafes, restaurants, and shops in the two streets near this hotel.
The front desk staff at the Moose Hotel were exceptional. Unfortunately, the first room we were assigned was on the ground level and very dark and musty smelling. The staff were able to find us a different room on an upper level. We stayed there several nights and, unfortunately, had trouble sleeping due to room’s AC unit cycling on and off all night long. Aside from that, this property was of a standard quality. Nothing exceptional, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom well appointed, with nice towels and robes provided. Each room has a small balcony with two chairs.
The common area on the first floor was attractive and had nice sofas for relaxing in front of the fire - which amazingly they had roaring, even in July. There are nice outside areas for seating as well in this garden- style property.

Great stay for our family

The Moose Hotel was an excellent spot for our family of 4. It is right on the main road in Banff, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. There is free parking on spot, the rooms were clean and nice, and the rooftop heated pool was fun for our kids. We also enjoyed having a sauna on-site! The on-site restaurant was also great!

Although this property was very clean, it was very basic. There were very few amenities for the price of the hotel. The towels were very thin and scratchy. The toilet paper was also very thin. The pillows and bedding were sub par.

Loved it

Such a sweet place. We really enjoyed our 3 nights here for our visit to Canada. The one bed suite was cute and charming, a little tight for space for a family of four but manageable and very clean and well equipped. Super friendly staff at reception, I can’t recall her name but the staff member we met on arrival on 3rd July, I do remember she was Australian, had just the best customer service skills and is a real credit to the hotel creating a welcoming arrival for guests. The hotel is perfectly situated with easy access to the town and buses etc and yet surrounded by trees and mountains - it is heavenly.
