Great hotel with best location

The hotel is really quality valued facility. All the staff we met are very kind and supportive for our better staying. The location is best, close to main street, restaurants, and shops. We will stay this hotel again if we travel to Banff

Good location, average hotel

This is a very average hotel. The promised “mountain views” were obstructed by buildings. Rooms on the back side face an alley which had an unpleasant odor whivh kept us from using the little balcony. There is a restaurant which I am told has a good breakfast (not included) but it is in a building across the street and down an indoor mall so o quick bites. Fortunately there is a good restaurant next door open for breakfast. Our room (318) was small but adequate in size, initially we were given another room near the end oh the hall which was poorly laid out and very cramped. The location is excellent, a short walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars.

Regarding the view from your room, as we are located in downtown Banff, our rooms offering mountain views are advertised as having a “partial view.” Due to our central location and the surrounding buildings, we are unfortunately unable to offer unobstructed mountain views. Room 318 is a back-alley room and therefore does not include a mountain view.
If you choose to stay with us again, we would be happy to assist you in selecting a room type that better suits your preferences. Please feel free to contact us directly before your arrival, and we would be delighted to help.
We also sincerely apologize for the unpleasant odor outside your room. We completely understand how disappointing this would be, especially when you are hoping to enjoy some time on your balcony during the summer months.
For your convenience, our amenities, including our breakfast restaurant, Crave, are located at our sister property, Banff Park Lodge, directly across the street.
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our central downtown location and its easy access to all that Banff has to offer. We hope that, overall, you enjoyed your stay with us, and we would truly appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back for an even more enjoyable experience.

Lovely Bakery next door!!

GREAT Location!! One big tip, after checking in, go out the back door, not the front. The back door opens into a shopping area with the Wild Flour Bakery just a few steps away. Go early, it's popular and worth it. There are tons of restaurants and shops just steps away. We parked our car and bused or walked everywhere. Peaks was a very nice hotel, well appointed, but the best feature was location.

We’d stay here again!!

Awesome!!! Beautiful hotel, super clean, incredible service! Front desk was so helpful each day. We stayed in the Loft Suite. With 3 adults. Pull out couch bed has a temperpedic thin mattress so while still a couch bed and fairly hard, better than regular pull out sofa bed. Plus we were so tired from our full Banff days! Excellent location - walking distance to great restaurants and shopping!! We enjoyed the steam room, hot tub, and pool in the hotel across the street- great partnership!
