Great Cabins / Great Location

For those who appreciate the Columbia River Valley and its massive lakes, this wonderful little resort is a great alternative to the condo-centric choices of Fairmont Hot Springs. Still, only a 5-minute drive to the Hot Springs, but Timbers offers a natural setting, quietness, and sparkling clean cabins. It also has a small pebble beach (short 5-minute walk) for refreshing swims in Columbia Lake. It is convenient to the Westside Bike Trail and the Spirit Trail on the east shore. Innkeepers David and his wife are amazing and truly have poured their passion for the place into many refinements. Superb cleaning as well. We'll be back!

Clean Cabin Comfort Camping

We booked in May, as the availability in the Valley gets low as September approaches. We arrived and were surprised that there was basically no check in process; the cabin was unlocked and keys on the table. The grounds were very neat and tidy! Once inside, the cabin was older but very clean. It felt like a real cabin camping experience! The beds were very comfortable. Coffee and all cooking utensils were provided. The only drawback was the extremely small showers, seeming like the same size as a phone booth. The cabin and area was quiet and relaxing. It would have been nice to have a later check out (Check out was 10am), but we were on our way by 10. We would definitely recommend these cabins, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at the cabin with family. It was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and the kids enjoyed the outdoor playground.

Had our dog with us and felt very welcome. Almost like pulling up to your own place. Highly recommended and definitely will be back.
