The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the space was great. However, they could benefit from having one more person working in the kitchen to better accommodate the number of guests during breakfast hours. They should also consider offering more food options for guests who do not eat pork or bacon, as well as for vegetarians.
The hotel could use a few upgrades, but overall it was clean and provided great service.

This place shows a lot of wear and tear. The bathroom toilet ran a lot, the room was noisy. The breakfast was not stocked and overall the place was a little chaotic. Ok for a budget family but not a restful place. Was very busy and unkept.

This property is old and outdated. The lobby isn't terrible, but the evening staff lacked any customer service whatsoever. We had a glitch at the POS terminal during the processing of my credit card at check-in and while the system appeared to have frozen on the hotels end, it clearly posted on my banks end. They asked us to sit and wait in the lobby while they tried to sort it out and contact their manager. My family was exhausted after travelling and only wanted to clean up and rest. It took significant prodding to convince them that there was no reason they couldn't let us in our room given the fact that they had my name, identification, phone number and credit card on file. The pool was disgusting, very old and dirty. Hot tub jets were weak and the water was warm at best. The room was a good size but we needed maintenance to get the tv working. The shower rod had been replaced and was already loose again, the toilet paper holder was loose, the hair dryer had been replaced and the previous wall damage left unfixed, same with the door hook. Bathroom door would not lock, water was super hot, but the shower fixtures were so old they would not adjust to a reasonable temperature and the pressure was off to the point that the entire system was squealing. Dishes in the suite were dirty and housekeeping left a dirty towel from the bathroom on the kitchenette counter. Main door would not close and had to be forcefully pulled or pushed close. Don't waste your money.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in August. We chose it because of its handy location to where we were going. We appreciated the clean and secure rooms and friendly staff. Our room was well cared for and modern. Our bed was cozy and comfortable. We appreciated having a free breakfast. It was basic but adequate. However, over the time that we were there, I noticed that the rest of the hotel in general could use some maintenance. For example the first night I went to use the ice machine on our floor and it was broken. No big deal I used the one on the floor below. The next day the elevator wasn’t working. On the second morning I went to the fitness room in the basement. The women’s public washroom down there was out of soap. The fitness room has good quality equipment but isn’t maintained. Both tracks on the 2 good quality treadmills were torn. The light weights were missing. There aren’t any paper towels or tissues in there either. However, the biggest issue we had was being woken up at 2 am by the fire alarm. The entire hotel was evacuated and it took about 35 minutes of standing outside or waiting in our vehicles until we were cleared and allowed to go back inside. We were told that it was a false alarm. If the alarm was the result of a malfunction, this is totally unacceptable. If it was a guest who accidentally triggered it or someone else then it’s understandable. I do not know which was the case, but the experience was grossly inconvenient and both my hus
