Accommodation was good. Upon payment however, we were charged twice for our stay and had to go through a lengthy process to try and get a refund of the money. Be aware.

Room was great, beds comfortable, loved having a balcony.
Staff ante super helpful and friendly, particularly Ivy, ArRuhm, Sarah, Emmanuel from front desk.., and Asmeret from housekeeping was especially kind and helpful. Will always choose the Ramada Plaza Calgary downtown from now on.

The room’s definitely need an update and the hotel is a little rundown, but it does exactly it’s purpose and the staff are friendly and it’s in a great location. It’s good for its price.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The room was dated but clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good. If you are staying for multiple nights and plan to eat breakfast at the hotel I would recommend including it when you book your room. It would have been $40 for 3 adults and 1 toddler for 2 days had we booked ahead. When you pay on site it is $20 per adult per meal. The outdoor pool is a nice feature. It was clean and slightly heated so a morning swim was comfortable. The valet underground parking was well worth the $20 per night. I would stay in this hotel again.

While it was kept mostly clean by the staff, I noticed there are bad carpet stains everywhere including Rm 719, they should have replaced the carpeting long ago. Also had a dead electrical outlet so the bedside lamp had no chance of working, seems to be neglected on long term maintenance?
