A real gem
Very kind and friendly owners manage this gite which is a real gem: well-furnished common areas and rooms, with attention to every detail, from the porcelain to the curtains, to the very soft sheets.
Truly delicious and plentiful breakfast.
Very convenient private parking.
Room facing the street a little noisy if you sleep with the window open (but the owners had warned of the inconvenience).
Double bed which is actually a queen size bed, a little small for my tastes, but still comfortable.
Cap Chat doesn't offer much in terms of catering, especially if you arrive after 8pm, and therefore it is a bit inconvenient to have to move elsewhere, but the structure is certainly not to blame.

An extremely unpleasant experience
Our experience with the host was most unpleasant. It was simply impossible to communicate with him on the phone without him becoming aggressive, raising his tone, being rude and even hanging up on us repeatedly. Moreover, when I wanted to cancel my stay for medical reasons a month in advance, he lied to us about the cancellation conditions. In short, I do not recommend doing business with this property.

Nous avons une offre diversifiée afin de maximiser nos revenus selon le budget des clients. La première et la moins chère se trouve sur Booking. Nous devons offrir le meilleur prix en ligne sur Booking, et c'est ce que nous faisons. Ces réservations sont par contre est non remboursables. Puisque vous avez réservé chez nous sur Booking, votre réservation était non remboursable. Nous vous l'avons mentionné par écrit lors de votre réservation. Vous pouviez annuler sans frais votre réservation au cours des quatre heures suivant votre réservation. Lors de vos appels téléphoniques incessants et aussi ceux de votre mère pour vous faire rembourser sans frais, nous vous avons permis de transférer votre réservation sans frais à une autre personne. Après plusieurs échanges d'harcèlement téléphonique avec vous et des membres de votre famille, nous avons arrêté de perdre notre temps avec vous en ne répondant plus à vos appels. Vous avez aussi fait des coups de téléphone chez nous par la suite. De plus, vous n'avez JAMAIS annulé votre réservation sur Booking, ce qui ne nous permettait pas de louer la chambre à nouveau et de vous donner un retour d'argent sur votre annulation. Vous nous disiez que vous ne vouliez pas que nous fassions le double d'argent. Vous avez refusé de nous faire confiance, et vous avez préféré le harcèlement téléphonique. Nous n'avons pas menti au sujet des annulations: les conditions d'annulation ne sont pas les mêmes pour toutes nos offres. En appelant en direct comme vous l'avez fait pour vérifier nos offres, vous avez constaté une différence entre les conditions en ligne et celles en direct avec l"hôtelier. Cela fonctionne comme cela partout dans le monde: en direct, les conditions sont meilleures, mais le prix est souvent un peu plus élevé. En direct aussi, des extras sont souvent inclus, alors qu'ils ne le sont pas en ligne. Nous ne sommes malheureusement pas une compagnie d'assurance voyage: il importe au voyageur de s'assurer adéquatement contre les imprévus de la vie. Nous ne pouvons pas rembourser les réservations non-remboursables, car nous ne serions pas rentables. Les compagnies d'assurances existent à cet effet. Nous vous avons expliqué tout cela plusieurs fois au téléphone (surtout à la personne de la famille qui appelait pour vous) et nous vous les mettons ici par écrit. Vous êtes maintenant plus informée pour vos prochaines expériences de réservation. Nous vous encourageons fortement à considérer les conditions de réservation de vos futurs hôtes et à assumer vos choix.

Great owners provide wonderful stay.
I arrived and had booked the wrong day and the owner rectified this without charge . The owner was helpful recommending a restaurant close by . Room is beautiful facing the ocean . The breakfast outstanding - I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place
We spent one night here en route to Percé. The hosts were the sweetest people and so helpful. Love the fact that the house is so old and has so much history. We had a great time here. Breakfast was fantastic!
