Perfect Rustic Experience!

Absolutely darling cabins! We came here to see 3 lakes that my Mom and Grandparents would visit back in the 1950s. This was a perfect place to stay and experience them all. They have everything you need, including a work out room, convenient store, and even a gas pump. Lots of flower baskets adorn the cabins and store front. The Mountain Views complete the experience. Light sleepers should be aware of the trains that come through quite often but I noticed they don’t honk their horns in the middle of the night.

A little bit of luxury along with the rustic.

A little bit of luxury along with the rustic was exactly what we wanted for our stay. The bedding, fluffy towels, soaps and coffee and tea were all top quality. The extra bundle of firewood at our door in the morning of day 2 was an unexpected treat. They also did a room tidy and refreshed our coffee and tea supply.
We booked for 2 nights but the location was perfect for exploring the banff area and a longer stay. Kitchen had everything you need to make your own meals. And we would have loved trying the outdoor fire pit if we had stayed longer.
The trail to Silverton Falls is just a 2 min drive and well worth the walk in. In April I recommend hiking poles to help with the icy conditions.
Pet friendly, luxurious touches in a rustic and friendly atmosphere. We would stay again and absolutely recommend Castle Mountain Chalets.

Very nice atmosphere. Ladies loved going for walking.

Unforgettable Castle Mountain Chalet

The experience at Castle Mountain Chalet was superb; the accommodation we stayed in exceeded all expectations. The location is strategic, halfway between Banff and major attractions like Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The house offers everything you need, including top-of-the-line kitchen utensils. We always found dishwasher tabs, and for the shower, we had very good, fragrant shower gel and shampoo. Not to mention the soft, cozy terrycloth bathrobes. Outside, there are two barbecues available for guests, and last but not least, the small shop is handy for purchasing small items. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Great location

Poorly maintained but great location a few minutes from Athabasca and a short drive from the lakes.
The chalet I stayed had a leak in the bathtub causing the hot water to run out mid shampoo. I only stayed for two nights so I didn’t bother to call in for it since I felt it was more of an inconvenience to move or have someone come in fix it.
