Fantastic Hotel in remote northern community!

Clean, decent size room, and fantastic breakfast. Very impressive considering the remote location. Water bottle filling station was great too. And you couldn't ask for more thoughtful staff, they work so hard! Would definitely stay here again if I was every in Churchill.

Exceptional !!!

From start to finish, a fantastic experience. We stayed in room #21 and it was spacious and more importantly to me, it was clean. John and Koral were lovely to deal with and responded to questions prior to our arrival. Carol was amazing. Gosh, she works hard. And so thoughtful. We were given early check in, which was fantastic after the long train ride. Our luggage was picked up at the train by a lovely lady whose name I cant remember (karen?) we chose to walk but she took our bags for us. Carol knew we were leaving on the 8:30 pm train and told us we could stay in the room until we left. Without us asking. Obviously if they needed our room that would not have been an option but the fact they were willing to delay cleaning to accomodate our schedule was exceptional. And then carol told everyone during breakfast that if they wanted to order a pizza for the train she would need to know by 5:30 because they had a large group with dining reservations. I am not sure when she slept because I saw her working every time I was out and about. And always smiling! And lets talk about the breakfast, also exceptional, especially considering the remote location. Two hot options were 1) Bacon or sausage, eggs and hashbrowns or 2) pancakes. In addition to that, unlimited coffee, toast (with various types of bread) yogurt, fruit juice, porridge, pastries, 3 cold cereals and apples & oranges! This is a small town so everything is in easy walking distance. I’d stay again and will recommend to family and friends. The hotel staff turned a great trip into an exceptional one! Thank you thank you thank you!

Exactly what we hoped for…

Comfortable and warm room. Bedding was comfortable. Remember where you are at when visiting, in a remote location with limited access to creature comforts. We were to see bears and learn about Churchill, this was not billed as a luxury hotel stay. Felt comfortable and safe.

An awkward facility!

The name guesthouse is more appropriate than CH & Restaurant - they would not have any groceries to supply the restaurant in the next two days, so restaurant was not working at all! Besides, there was nobody at the reception when we have arrived...
Making the bed is something that we specifically have to request.
On a less negative side, room was spacious, bed was comfortable, WC was fully functional; and in an inside all, we had a toaster, a microwave, a coffee machine, and we could even target a basketball net...
In full honesty, there are better lodging facilities for you to stay on!

Nice, comfy stay

Nice, small hotel in Churchill. Even got the use of laundry facilities after hours, the housekeeping staff was so kind! Our receptionist even gave us a tour when they picked us up from the train. You can also get a shuttle service to the airport, depending on your travel plans.
