Just what we needed and indoor pool was a hit. All the waste and throw away single use plates etc for breakfast were unnecessary. So bad for the environment

Renovated hotel in small town. Room was spacious with small kitchen. Only gripe is fridge freezer is too big and cramps the kitchen space. Could do with smaller fridge freezer and more worktop space. Other than that, nice comfy beds, good breakfast and good adjoining restaurant.

Average hotel

Room is fairly spacious. However, the cleaning is not fantastic. Chairs in the room are dirty and contain many stains. Bathroom is not completely clean and quite outdated. There is dirt in the bath/shower. Joints are yellow and the tissue wall holder (which does not contain tissues) is rusted. There are also broken shampoo dispensers in the bath.
However, on the balcony of the 4 person room was 1 chair. When asked at the reception for a 2nd seat (all rooms had 2 chairs on the balcony) a 2nd seat was not possible because the hotel was fully booked.
Bed sleeps fine. And there is an air conditioning, which is nice in summer with temperatures above 30 degrees.
In addition, there is a coffee and tea vending machine in the lobby, with different types of coffee and hot chocolate.
Staff are not very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast is mediocre. There is not much choice and little is replenished. Is understandable because there is only 1 person at breakfast. In addition, the tables are not very clean as are the cloth chairs, which contain many stains.
A tip: eat something at Hop ‘N Hog Tap & Smokehouse in the evening. It is a 2min drive or 9min walk from the hotel. It's definitely worth having something to eat here!

This was an unexpected delight. We only stayed one night on route to Jasper from Whistler but it was more than adequate for our needs. We are a family of four and stayed in one of the 2 queen bed rooms. It was a lot bigger and better equipped than expected and opened directly onto a nice grassy area. Breakfast was unexpected, basics such as bagels and toast, fruit and yogurt but really nice. Couldn’t fault the place.

Lovely friendly staff. Looked like it had been recently been renovated. Room was great. Lovely garden at the back. Bonus was the free coffee which was excellent with plenty of choices. Good value for money.
