Nice place but expensive. They get away with the price being higher than it should because there aren't any other resorts in the area. The resort fee is just a cash grab. We didn't have time to take advantage of the free bucket of driving range balls or to use the fitness facility so basically we paid $15 per day for internet service and 2 small bottles of water.

Amazing golf! A lovely location with many trees.
The rooms were airy and well designated. The air conditioner was too loud for us to sleep but with a cool room, the conditioner turned off at bedtime, and the ceiling fan on, we slept comfortably. There was no room to room noise and that made for a wonderful sleep.
Restaurant food very good.
Would definitely stay here again

Very nice cottage for a relaxing stay

Stayed in one of the cottages on the golf course side. NIce cottage, bathroom with good sized shower and properly outfitted with towels. Kitchen had the basics, including kettle and Keurig, so also good. Bed was comfortable. Only downsides - could use a privacy shade in Kitchen/Living area, and road noise from Ryan Road, which was clearly audible at night. Could do with a higher fence on the north side the cottages, especially the lower ones, and would suggest planting lots more outside and inside the fence to give more soundproofing (and a better outlook on that side) in future.

We had a wonderful time, enjoyed lunch & dinner. Had many meals there in the past but this was our 1st stay. Highly recommend it

WE WILL BE BACK FOR NEXT YEAR'S HOT AUGUST NIGHTS!

The resort is fabulous!!! Excellent rooms! Great Food! We always go on an annual convertible tour and this year we decided to go the Vancouver island. We took the mid island ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo, visited Coombs and then took the old island highway to Comox. Some great views of the ocean and lots of small villages and towns along the way. The rooms we booked where individual cottages with fridges, stoves and tvs which were located right on the golf course, the rooms were clean and the entire resort was neat and tidy.
