A Very Pleasant Surprise!

We just returned from the BC PickleBall tournament in Tsawwassen and stayed at the Delta by Marriott. We had no idea what to expect, but happily our stay exceeded our expectations.
The hotel is quite new and the rooms are well appointed. Ours had a king side bed and that was extremely comfy!
The pool was a nice plus and it provided a nice escape during a hot, sunny July day.
It’s attached to a casino which was a bit of a concern, however if turned out to be quite separate and not a problem at all.
The restaurants were comfortable and the food was definitely better than average.
The staff was exceptional, they all went above and beyond which you don’t find at many hotels! We would particularly like to give a shout out to Happy, our amazing housekeeper. Her name is very appropriate!!!
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Tsawwassen/Ladner area.

Convenient location for ferry travel just outside the tunnel on hwy 99 in Ladner. They let me check in an hour early as room was ready. They were so helpful with finding a bowl of soup late - after restaurant and room service closed. Thank you Andrew!! . It’s got covered parking. A great outdoor heated pool and patio. The casino on the other side of the lobby if that’s your thing. The restaurant and buffet are excellent. I extended my first night to three. It’s lovely. All the staff are top notch. This is now my go to for Vancouver trips even though it’s 45 min from down town. Marriott benefits are worth becoming a member.

A nice option, somewhat off the beaten path

This is a really nice Delta Hotel that still has a new-ish feel to it. While some would argue that it is in the middle of nowhere (attached to a Casino), it is actually a nice option in between the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal, the airport and some of the towns to the southeast (eg: Surrey).
What I enjoyed
-Room ready for early arrival, as per online check-in time provided in Marriott app
-Room prepared as requested (hypoallergenic)
-Very friendly front desk staff, with good recommendations and hotel orientation
-Nice, modern rooms
-Clean, modern common areas
-Adequate room temperature area
-Room is just about the right size, and conducive to work
-Comfortable bed and pillows
-Good size bathroom, adequate shower pressure and temperature, standard bathroom products
-Usually at least one taxi always on side and rideshare (Uber) usually only a few minutes away
-Quiet area, good soundproofing (rooms)
I do not have any constructive comments as I did not stay on site much. There are a few onsite dining options, but then there is not much else in the immediate area.

Our stay was great the room was nice and clean and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
