clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, free breakfast included with stay, parking lot has lots of space, nearby shopping centres, stayed in a pet-friendly room with very young kids

INFESTATION WARNING: Bed Bugs & Total Management Indifference
We stayed here recently and discovered a bed bug infestation in our room. I have clear photo evidence of the bugs and the bites we sustained.
While finding a pest in a hotel is a nightmare, the way management handled it was even worse. When we informed the front desk, their only solution was to move us to another room. They refused our simple request for dry cleaning/heat treatment for our clothing and luggage, even though those items were now likely infested. The response? "The manager isn't in today, so there's nothing we can do."
It got worse when we called Hilton Corporate. A supervisor named Malik was incredibly rude, essentially telling us that because he doesn't stay in hotels, he "doesn't care" about the situation. No apology, no immediate help, and zero accountability for a major health code violation.
For those who don't know, bed bugs are "hitchhikers." They crawl into the seams of your suitcases and the folds of your clothes. If you take even one female bug or a few eggs home, you are looking at:
-Thousands of dollars in professional extermination costs.
-The potential need to throw away your mattress, couch, and clothing.
-Months of emotional trauma, insomnia, and being bitten in your own sleep.
By refusing to help us decontaminate our gear, this hotel is essentially okay with us bringing an infestation back to our home. They treated a high-risk health hazard like a minor "inconvenience."
Avoid this hotel at all costs. There is no "Hilton Standard" here—just a dirty room and a management team that will leave you stranded once they have your money.

The check in was great 👍 Fast and convenient service. However, there were several unsatisfactory issues this time. First everyday the housekeeping staff kept coming in our room while we were there and the no disturb sign was on the door. Secondly, the mattress was very uncomfortable and we both woke up with back pain everyday. And I highly recommend bringing your own pillows. I understand this is a no frills hotel which I appreciate but it has gone downhill in the last year. Great parking and awesome area to stay in. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The grounds outside are disappointing as the weeds have over taken any landscaping that was previously done. Just looks like they can't be bothered to maintain upkeep. Truly was disappointed this time around.😕

Staff were inattentive, on their phone with legs up on a chair when I sat down on a chair and ended up with sticky dried juice on my new pants. Offered so laundry service or apologies. Became defensive. Very little pride in the property

Check in was great , friendly , spent 2 nights .
Soccer tournament so lots of young kids. Ours included. Our room didn’t get a clean . Had to go take our garbage and ask for replacement bags. Came in from very wet cold game and went to get the coffee supplied at front . It was lukewarm ,front end staff said come back in 15 and she was making more . Went back twice , no coffee.
Landscaping needs major clean up .
Breakfast was super busy , only skinny garbage cans for plates, cups,cutlery . Overflowed .
Did like the overall decor and quiet location . Close to many stores.
