Room was clean.. but things needed to be fixed. A hole in the frame of the tub, covered by the bath mat.
When cleaners are off, they need to put more face clothes and towels in room. Some people do not reuse face clothes and towels. So it would be nice to have fresh everyday. Plus when there is four people in the room you need more then one roll of toilet paper.
Breakfast staff, you couldn't ask for better, they went above and beyond. One could not eat fried food, so Monday morning they made scrambled eggs. So appreciated.
Overall, we are very appreciative of that we had a room that worked for us of access the outside and inside easy...
The staff on the front desk, were very polite and friendly. Always with a smile.
Yes, we would stay there again.

Stay elsewhere

There was a wedding reception going on till midnight the night we arrived. One of the most unintuitive welcomes by a receptionist in ages, only interested in getting my credit card ASAP.
Peeling wallpaper in the hallway and a musty smell as we opened our bedroom door.
The desk seat in our room was so badly worn I would be embarrassed to offer it to anyone to sit on.
There were noisy kids running up and down the hallway and fire escape all night. We phoned and complained but it continued.
The beds were squidgy and noisy as you sat on them.
Long queues for the breakfast buffet, out of the dinning room door.
All in all Quality at the Quality Hotel was missing. It was tiered and well past its prime.

At 300.00 per night plus tax, wayyyy overpriced. Hotel is very dated, and needs a renovation. Only have double beds and they are not great.

A great pet friendly room with easy access to the outside for our pet. Staff were great, dining room was good and it was convenient to explore the Fogo Twillingate area.

Good but lacking

This hotel had a good location, just off the main highway. It was close to the aviation museum and the Come From Away theatre. We asked for restaurant recommendations, they said theirs was the best. We ate at Union East the 2nd night, it was definitely better. The room, upon opening the door you see the light switch for the room light, surprise it is also for the bathroom. One switch both rooms. The room was like a tiny house, a double and twin bed with barely room to walk between. The bed had seen better nights, we didn't complain. The sheets were clean and made for a queen bed. The bedside light switch was mounted high on the wall so had to get out of bed to reach it. The staff was courteous but not overly helpful. The hotel did have good coffee. Breakfast was standard hot breakfast filling but not special. Would I return, probably not. It seemed overpriced for what we got.
