Fabulous Nova Scotian
From the moment we arrived and Elena took care of our bags we were happy about choosing the Westin Nova Scotian. Dinner was great in the Seaport Social especially Tracy our server. She was delightful. Thank you.

Comfortable/Friendly Stay
Stayed at the Halifax Westin for 2 nights over the Natal Day weekend. Check-in was quick, easy and customer service was top notch. It's been several years since staying at this location, so I couldn't remember how our experience went 100% last time. We found our room easily which was clean and decorated nicely. I think my biggest complaint was the amount of "free space" in the room, but that honestly could have been because of our room type (2 Double Beds). Not that we spend a lot of time in our room besides sleep, but the bathroom was a 1 person maximum (sink/counter) space and the walkways around the beds didn't allow more than 1 person at a time moving around. Maybe we've just stayed in rooms at other establishments with more floor/free space and this is the normal. We took advantage of the pool/hot tub. Pool was a nice temperature and great size, my only complaint would be the accessibility to enter/leave. The only way to enter/leave the pool was ladder systems (which is fine for most) but I know a lot of people prefer stairs if they have mobility issues. Not that my family had issues, but it came to mind while there. Hot tub was a good size, but there wasn't a "seat/ledge" low enough to fully submerge yourself to your shoulders/mid chest. It was either a seat quite high or standing to get more coverage. Hot tubs are usually a big plus when booking a hotel, so the fact they have one was nice, just wish it was different for my personal likes. We enjoyed breakfast each morning (buffet) and it honestly was a highlight of our stay. We'd return just for breakfast if we weren't staying at the hotel honestly. From made to order omelets/waffles and a large assortment of continental/hot items there was something to keep everyone happy.
Overall I would return, though I feel I may be spoiled with some ol'faithful places we go more often.

I was a little disappointed with my stay. The rooms not worth the money I paid.

Big corporate hotel, nothing particularly special
Clean but quite small rooms overall atmosphere felt very neutral and corporate as a hotel. rooms not available until 20 mins after official check-in time not cheap

Great hotel experience
Location is in the heart of the city, on the beautiful waterfront!
The atmosphere was busy!
The rooms were nice and clean!
The room was pricey!
The service was excellent. I was injured on my stay in Halifax. Staff were quick to give me a wheelchair to help me around the hotel! It was very kind!
