Enchanted forest and fairies - our wedding on July 3, 2024
Gowlland Resort is an absolute gem! From the breathtaking location and stunning venue to the attentive staff and mouthwatering food, everything about this place is extraordinary. Our enchanted forest wedding, held just a few weeks ago, was truly magical. The moss-covered bluffs, lush green landscape, mesmerizing oceanfront views, and the beautiful lodge all contributed to unforgettable experiences for us and our guests.
A special mention goes to the owner, Lynette, who made the biggest difference. Her unwavering support from start to finish ensured our vision came to life flawlessly. If we could do it all over again, we would choose Gowlland Resort without hesitation. It was perfection in every sense.

The rude valentines night hostess
The rudest hostess at the restaurant. We asked if we could sit anywhere but the bench sitting and we told no they had a sitting plan and that was that. Inn fact I know my husband & myself were the first people on the reservations for valentines night, because were at the resort 2 weeks prior and booked it that day and the lady informed us they had just opened the night up for the start of the season. During dinner we witnessed two other couples being accommodated to their sitting requests, the one right beside and in front of us was disgustingly and degrading for us to witness.
Food was tasty but we will never go back to spend over two hundred dollars to be treated the way we were…..

Gowland Harbor Resort/Lodge
I cannot say enough about this place! The location with it's views is spectacular. The staff was simply amazing and couldn't be more accommodating. The food was exquisite! They have a chef that brought out different meals every night. WEe stayed there three nights. When people are taking pictures of their food before they eat it, you know it is prepared beautifully. A special shout out to the fully staffed bar! We had fishing guides pick us up each day from their brand new dock. We will be back!

Gowlland Resort is actually the 8th wonder of the world. Truly a hidden gem!
Beautiful, serene…amazing! The resort has the most beautiful views, grounds, cabins…I could go on n on. We filled the resort Friday to Sunday. My daughter’s wedding was Saturday September 9, 2023. The owner went above and beyond making every detail absolutely perfect. It was a wedding I couldn’t have dreamt so beautifully. Thank you Lynette for your attention to every detail! You are amazing!

Wonderful weekend wedding at a naturally beautiful place.
We have been going to Quadra Island for over forty years for camping. When our daughter booked the Gowlland Harbour resort for her wedding we were very happy. The resort is very comforting, cozy, and well landscaped. The harbour and beachfront are exceptional natural and rugged. A few weeks before the wedding we found out the resort was under new management and ownership. Needless to say, we were very apprehensive, because we were so close to the wedding and how it was all going to turn out. Well, the new manager and owner were on it. BOTH the Manager and owner worked with us to make our daughter's wedding a weekend to remember for sure. We all had a great time. Everyone keep commenting how wonderful the resort and wedding was. The resort itself needs some touch ups. to make it into a world class place. There is no place in the world better than B.C. in the summer, this resort helps to prove that.
