Dog friendly but not worth it

We stayed here because we brought our dog. It was not worth it. We had a room on the hwy side so there was a great deal of hwy noise which we expected. What we didn’t expect was paper thin walls and someone talking on their phone at 345 am at full volume then doors slamming consistently between 4 and 5am of people coming and going. The front desk fellow was polite, the room was clean but it had a deep stank. Even with a dog…do t stay here. We barely slept.

Oddly enough, I think this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at as a quick, over-night easy motel. It's obviously an older building, but it has been wonderfully renovated. The rooms were immaculate and properly appointed. The little kitchenette was a bonus if we'd needed it. The A/C was efficient, but also unobtrusive and quiet. The weird little puns everywhere were an absolute delight. The duck was funny - I may have to see if I can trade a football duck for something else. The only critique is the pool closed at 9pm, which seemed a little silly for the summer months. Overall, I absolutely would stay here again (and will be, on our homeward leg).

We really enjoyed staying at the accent Inn in Kamloops. The attention to detail and the little things made our stay so much more enjoyable. The front desk were amazing so helpful and so friendly. And the hotel was very close to anything we wanted to get to. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
