We were delayed due to an accident and were going to arrive late. I called and then emailed and no contact. Thankfully after calling later I reached someone. I wish communication was better.

Crooked business practices, what a dump.

DO NOT STAY HERE — SERIOUS CREDIT CARD CHARGE DISPUTE
Our family had an extremely upsetting experience with the Ranchland Inn in Kamloops.
My father-in-law was trying to arrange accommodations for his wife’s funeral when multiple charges, totaling approximately $1,500, were placed on his credit card that he did not authorize or confirm.
We contacted the motel repeatedly to try to resolve the situation and requested that the unauthorized charges be refunded. According to our experience, they refused to reimburse the money and have now refused to communicate with us. Calls have been terminated when we tried to discuss the matter, and we were also told not to come to the property to speak with them.
This has been an incredibly stressful situation for our family at an already heartbreaking time.
We are sharing our experience so other travelers can make an informed decision before providing this establishment with their credit card information.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here or providing this business with a credit card without carefully documenting every charge and authorization.

I would not recommend going anywhere near this motel The advertisement for it is completely false they actually don't ha

There is no spa there is a hot tub that doesn't work and when I arrive for a three week stay I was told that I was be able to use it but it was decommissioned. I was told that I was the only one that was using it I found other people coming and going and none of the Jets were working they were broken they are still not working and after being there for three weeks on the last day there they put up a sign say it was out of order they offer according to their website daily housekeeping services no they do not they only offer towels if you ask maybe garbage in the entire time I was there I had to ask for my sheets to be changed They never did clean the toilets or the sinks they vacuumed when you asked if they would and a period of time the garbage cans were overflowing outside and wreaking the manager was unpleasant and yelled at me because I was asking him why things didn't work and I would bring him my garbage that hadn't been removed it was the most unpleasant three weeks of my life I would definitely not recommend anybody staying here

The motel is dated but the rooms were clean. The manager was somewhat helpful but not as accommodating as would have been expected. Several handy amenities near by including Fresco, SaveOn Foods and a liquor store if you need those. 5-10 min drive to downtown. Relatively quiet area. We stayed on the second floor and the room was quiet.
