This was our first time staying here and we will be back. We could not be happier with everything about The Donald Gordon Hotel. The inside of the Hotel was so clean and so lovely. I loved the sitting area in the room with the piano. The outside was very well maintained with lovely flowers. There is a patio with seating in the courtyard. The building is so beautiful. We didn't feel like we were at just a "Hotel", it felt really special. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed. Okay, let's talk about the glorious free breakfast. Oh my goodness!! The best breakfast we have experienced at a Hotel. It was a dining room experience with the lovely staff attending to you, but with a buffet style. The food was amazing!! Everything you could think of, they had and so delicious. I recommend The Donald Gordon Hotel 100%. It's a very different experience than a regular hotel. It's a very special place. Thank you❤️

Room was clean, towels changed when requested. Bathrooms need updating and beds need new mattresses but plenty of pillows were provided. Staff was helpful especially at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. Parking was plentiful and very safe.

Skip this place. The photos on the website look amazing, but the reality is very different. The property feels old and poorly maintained, with unpleasant odors in all rooms and hallways. The staff were not welcoming and seemed indifferent at check-in. Breakfast was poor: no ham or cheese, only American-style coffee, no espresso or cappuccino. Overall, a negative experience that I will not repeat—never again!

Very big room. Comfortable, Plenty of parking. A great breakfast! The only downside is
the walking distance to downtown Kingston is about a half hour plus. It's a nice walk, a safe walk but a long walk.

The staff was absolutely top notch. The room was nice and the food was great. However, the room was damp. Everything in the room felt damp. The bed sheets felt like they had not been in the dryer quite long enough. There was also the faint smell of dead mouse.
