Very clean, very kind, very comfortable. Love to come back. I realized that not every hotel with the same franchise is the same.

I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. Our stay started with being assigned a room where the shower had not been properly cleaned. The hotel moved us after we reported it, although the head housekeeper who inspected the room appeared annoyed by our request.
After checkout, I noticed an unexpected damage charge on my American Express card. The hotel never called or emailed us before charging my card. I only learned about it after discovering the charge myself. Following American Express's recommendation, I returned to the hotel to ask for an explanation.
The front desk manager showed me a photo of alleged damage on his phone but refused to email or provide a copy. My wife was only able to photograph the image on his phone screen. Staff also referred to the charge as a "convenience fee," despite claiming it was for damage.
This was our first overnight stay away from home with our baby. We spent very little time in the room and only used the bed. The alleged damage shown did not reflect anything that occurred during our stay.
The most concerning part was the lack of transparency. The hotel charged my card without notifying me, refused to provide evidence, and could not explain how the amount was determined.
Afterward, I found at least one public review describing a similar disputed damage charge after checkout, along with many reviews mentioning the property's aging condition and maintenance concerns. I have disputed the charge with American Express.

AC is junk. Rooms loud AF. Found myself humming "living in the ghetto" by Cartman.

Hotel location is good and central. Lots of dining nearby.
But the sound proofing in rooms to the outside is terrible. I can't put into words how insanely loud it is. I was in NYC 2 wreks ago a block from the Empire state building and in a very busy area - not a sound. This feels like windows are wide open. Writing this at 1030pm from the room and can hear everything outside from cars to voices of people walking by.
AC is TERRIBLE. Thermostat is a Hoteltec ultra and they can not be overridden at all, rooms set to 70. You can change thermostat to "say" its at 67 etc but in reality it wont go below its set point. Many video hacks online say this one can not be overriden, which I didn't believe, but I tried everything - the room is stuffy and hot. Fan wont stay on. No one can sleep because its gross hot and also loud As heck.
I am gonna need a bag of gummies, headphones, and a cold towel, just to get any sleep tonight.
Smallest bathroom I have ever been in. No space to even have a curling iron or makeup or leave out toiletries.
Fitness equipment room - nothing was on or working and despite requesting rooms be plugged in, it was all still off when we checked again after informing front desk.
We will see if someone turned it on by tomorrow AM.
Experience overall (and there are other minor annoyances) is meh, I would say this is a 2.5 star at best, but any redeeming quality (location) is offset by the fact 2 people are arguing outside my window right now and I can hear enough to know she's kinda obnoxious - and I'm on the 3rd floor!!
No, I would not stay again.
If you come here:
Bring headphones.
Bring a good fan.
