No interaction with the staff. Saw no one around. Floor had a lot of sand and pebbles tracked in and floor not sweep. Bathroom was not clean.

Check-in was a little odd. We were expected to drive 5 minutes to pick up room keys. Staff at the attached restaurant were very helpful, and since we were on snowmobiles, drove to get the room keys for us. We were on the 2nd floor and getting to our rooms from the exterior was very treachorous due snow not being cleared. The room was nothing speacial and we soon discovered there was an interior entrance to our rooms. Due to fact there was no hotel staff onsite, we weren't made aware of this, and it was an entrance no guest would have found on their own until they were in their room. Definitely room to improve service.

The room was clean staff was friendly. The beds need to be attached to the wall somehow. They are on wheels and move around too easily.

Cheap but not for us during our visit.

As I often say, "When price comes first in our choices, you can't expect the home of a king."
It's not a 5-star hotel, but for the transient worker who wants a room to sleep... it's perfect.
The exterior could use some love, but his recent association with Hotel O-MANOIR can only give him some positive.

Establishment in poor condition.

The room is really basic, the bedding OK, the TV lost the signal every 5 minutes, the sink has traces of rust. The restaurant wouldn’t serve me, it was 7:45 p.m., finally I could be served. There is no one on site and the restaurant staff is not involved in the hostel.
I would understand that this type of establishment exists if the fees were lower but it cost me 135$ for one night without more comfort. The access from the front staircase is very narrow, I only saw the next day that it could be accessed from the back. I relied on Manoir Lac Etchemin which has a good reputation and which invoices and hands over the keys but it has nothing to do with it and at this price I can not recommend it to anyone.
