This is a great hotel convenient for the centre of Moncton and with its own car parking. Staff were friendly and very helpful. My only ‘complaint’ is that there was not public/guest lounge where you can sit and read or meet up. That has to be done in the bar/restaurant where one feels pressured to buy a drink or meal.

When we arrived we were informed that the room we booked with a King bed was in an area of renovation . We were moved to a room with a queen bed and a pull out couch
Not a good start
When we booked we booked for a full free breakfast and we were informed they don’t do that
It also cost to park in a hotel parking lot that you are paying for room at .Because of the room problem they waived the parking fee
I like a good cup of coffee in the morning and every hotel had a complimentary coffee bar this one cost $3.50 a cup .No thanks I used the one in the room
All in all not an enjoyable stay

Beware of parking lot theft
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were lovely, helpful, and professional. I cannot find any fault with the staff or the accommodation. However, there are real concerns with the security of the parking lot. Our two bicycles were removed from a Thule bike rack mounted to a trailer hitch on our car. They were locked to the rack, but the thief used tools to remove the bikes, damaging the rack in the process. When we reported the theft to the front desk staff, we were told that we should have been alerted about the security concerns when we checked in. This oversight needs to be addressed by the hotel management. Guests must be properly informed about the lack of vehicle security in the hotel parking lot.

What a stay should be like
The family went to visit Moncton for a night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We stayed at the Crown Plaza, and all in all, it was a very positive stay. Unfortunately, the parking was not free, however, due to a previous incident, the very helpful counter staff comped our parking. The young lady at the counter was very friendly, very informative and made sure that our two dogs were taken care of with treats and attention. The room was very large and nicely appointed with a spa tub, king bed, and pullout couch. The only negative I can say about the room sounds a little silly, but the toilet was so close to the glass shower walls, even my small daughter had her shoulders, touching it while using the facilities. I wish these places would think of those things before trying to maximize every space in a negative way. The pool was wonderful as was the hot tub and the steam room. For a full hotel, the hallways were quiet. The television was fantastic as there was a function where you could stream your devices on the television screen. This was wonderful because we could watch Netflix, Amazon prime, and so forth on the screen. The bed could’ve been a little bit more comfortable. There was plenty of pillows and robes in the room and the spa tub worked wonderfully. I would say this was a very positive stay except for the placement of the toilet. Thank you Crowne Plaza for a great stay.

Great location downtown. Baton Rouge restaurant had great food and drinks. Hotel was clean and staff extremely helpful!
