Everything was great. Only one disappointment was a dirty housekeeping rag was left in the bathroom when we checked in.

Excellent location, excellent staff (especially Stephanie at the front desk) So clean and very comfortable beds. Will stay here for sure on future trips.

Surprised by room extras and fitness center
I was skeptical when Hubby booked because I’ve had mixed experiences at other Double Trees, but was impressed with not only our room’s comfort and cleanliness, but also the extras (ceramic coffee cups and glassware instead of the usual plastic wrapped, a box of tissues, shower cap). The building’s three-story height reduces elevator wait time and makes taking the stairs more convenient. The FITNESS CENTER is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel. Most are buried in a windowless cramped corner, but this one is bright and spacious, with more machines and equipment than you’d expect.

Everything was OK but some things to note.
Very early in the AM, it can take quite a while for the shower water to get warm. You wonder if it will ever. Once warm/hot it is fine.
The spring loaded room door is a PITA if you are trying to move baggage in and out.
The room is small, no microwave or fridge, though the lobby has a microwave.
The shuttle service to the airport early next morning was efficient and easy.
However, there was a VERY long wait to get a shuttle from the airport to the Hotel, between 45 minutes and an hour. I called twice and they had no clue when it would arrive, just some vague statements. This was approaching rush hour, the shuttle services multiple hotels, rumors of construction delays and light rain.
The shuttle uses the same door for both passengers and luggage, and when it gets full, luggage is in the aisles, blocking people at early stops.
Restaurant is convenient. The Gazpacho soup tasted good. The vegetable entre was mediocre and everything was coated in a thin film of oil, despite it being advertised as steamed. Restaurant prices are highway robbery. The airport has better prices and selection.

Hotel smelled notably good. We really enjoyed staying here. Had a nice steak & fries on arrival at the hotel restaurant. All staff were great, went out of their way make us feel special on our honeymoon 🍯 🌖 thank you very much. Only downside was the shuttle took a little longer than expected at the airport; but when we called the hotel, the staff reassured us they were on their way; and they indeed were. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 💫
