Great location, very close to many restaurants, and walking distance (about 30 minutes) to the old port of Montreal. Area felt safe at night.
The apartment is a large space with full kitchen, separate bed area, and living room area.
There was no check-in desk -- entrance codes were provided in a notice sent indirectly via email (I needed to open a file sent through Hotels.com to view). Not easy to do on my phone, but once I figured that out, it was smooth.
Minor issues was a lack of instructions on how to set the heat. It was very cold when we entered and AC was blasting. Room thermostats were set to 16C -- pretty cold! It took some time to figure it out, and even then we weren't sure it was correct. Seems like AC is a separate system from the thermostat. It would be helpful if host provided instructions.
Similar issue with hot water in the shower. My wife tried for 10 minutes and couldn't get hot water -- had to take a cold shower. Turns out that you need to rotate the shower water control clockwise about 80 degrees. Rotating counterclockwise also turned on the shower, but only cold. Not obvious at all. Directions would have been very helpful.
Only directions posted in the apartment were to leave a 5 star review -- anything less was said to lead to the apartment being removed from the platform!!! Ultimately I would give this a 4.5 star rating due to the lack of instructions on how to set the heat to a reasonable level, and how to take a warm shower.

Nice location. Worked well for our young family. There is a long flight of stairs that we needed to carry our luggage up though.

The apartment was great - clean and well appointed, outstanding location, and the rooftop terrace was the cherry on top! Check-in and access was straightforward. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and spacious, amenities appreciated. Communication with the host was appropriate. Loved having a quality washer/dryer in the unit! The only complaint would be the very late night street noise. My room was facing a popular night club on Prince Arthur.

Fabulous location in the best neighbourhood with tons of great food, coffee, and shopping nearby. The building itself was very quiet and we slept so well. It’s also wonderful to have amenities like a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The rooftop patio was a real bonus to bring my coffee in the morning or have a drink together in the evening. The owners are friendly and communicative and everything about the process was easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend and intend to book again on my next visit to Montreal!
