Historic, clean and great location
Located just across the plaza from Notre Dame Basilica, this hotel is in a great location. An historic building that is very well maintained, well appointed, and super clean. The room was a bit small but was fine. Staff was friendly with one exception).

The front desk, restaurant and valet staff were excellent. Hotel is beautiful. We had an upgraded room so it was nice. 5 stars for all that. 1 star for housekeeping. Sometimes they made the bed, sometimes they didn't. Sometimes they took the used towels, sometimes they didn't. Sometimes they left a chocolate and a bottle of water, sometimes two, sometimes none. We were there 4 nights. Ate the chips on the first night. They never bothered to bring more. Some of them were friendly, some seemed angry. We had one washcloth our entire stay. My cousin stayed in a different room. Couldn't sleep for two nights because the HVAC was making clicking noise all night long. They finally moved him to another room which had a half full cup of coffee on the dresser when he got there Even though housekeeping said it had been cleaned and inspected. Housekeeping is a problem. It needs to get fixed. Immediately.

The staff were inexperienced, would not pick up the phone, they had zero security with multiple people coming in and changing keys without any ID. They added valet charge to our room when we had no car. The gym is terrible, no ventilation, no water and no towels. I told the management twice and no change. They forgot to bring us towels and property is poorly maintained, the staff are inconsistent and overall this was a terrible stay for the price. Some of the staff are kind the one who checked us in was informative and helpful. Otherwise I wouldn’t even get a bottle of water without escalating. It was a very weak place and I would never come back or recommend it.

Stayed at the Hotel Place d'Armes for two nights and found the services to be excellent. Staff were extremely accommodating to any requests, and special attention was given during the stay. The valet team was particularly excellent, taking care of the car quickly, ensuring it was fully charged, and handling all bags.
Would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable stay
During my stay, the staff came across as friendly and helpful. The receptionist, Jullianna, was incredibly nice and helped us with any issues that we had!
The location of the hotel is ideal: The metro station is 2 mins away walking, and there are numerous hotels and restaurants nearby!
The atmosphere of the hotel was good.
I'm unsure about the value because the room was booked by a travel agent.
The room we had was spacious enough to walk around freely, but eating around the table would get tricky. The beds are comfortable. The main bathroom included a shower (incl. Rain shower) and a bathtub. The other one had one toilet and one sink. Unfortunately, none of the bathrooms had locks. The room was large enough to fit a family of five. (Executive suite)
The room is cleaned daily, including the table. The bathroom was also clean.
The noise level was sometimes disturbing. During the night, we heard multiple sirens from the street, which wasn't the hotel's fault. At 5am, we did hear housekeepers talk loudly for about 2 minutes.
In the hotel, we received free water bottles every day and small chocolate pieces.
The shower had a body gel, shampoo, and conditioner available.
