Incredible and amazing service
Exceptional Service at the William Gray — I Will Absolutely Be Back!
This was my first visit to the William Gray in Old Montreal, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I was incredibly impressed. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail is exceptional, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the level of service.
I especially want to recognize Charlotte and Kenny, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. Every time I had a question, need, or concern, they were there with a solution, a smile, and such a warm, professional and genuinely friendly demeanour.
At one point, I actually became a little emotional because I was so touched by the level of care I received. It wasn’t one grand gesture—it was all of the thoughtful little things and the feeling that they genuinely cared about making my experience special. Those are the moments that make such a difference and turn a beautiful hotel stay into a truly memorable experience.
I cannot recommend the William Gray highly enough. It is a stunning property in an incredible location, but most importantly, it has people who understand what exceptional hospitality really means.

Great place and amazing staff
I’ve always had great experience at William Gray! The hotel is centrally located, rooms are clean, well kept. The highlight of my stay has always been the staff! Everyone is courteous, very thoughtful and made my stay amazing. Shout out to Eddy who helped me check in early on an exceptionally busy day. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Location with Incredible Views of Old Montreal
The view of Old Montreal from our room was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our trip. The location couldn’t have been better, we were within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, cafés, and the city’s most beautiful historic attractions. The only minor drawback is that the area can be a bit noisy, especially in the evenings, since it’s a very popular destination with tourists. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs.
