Room was somewhat clean, found some stains on the curtains but nothing major. The electric fireplace was not working in the room.
They cleaned the room but never did the beds. We were missing chairs on our balcony so we had to get them around the fountain. They told us they were closing the spa and pool at 11:00pm when it was supposed to close at 11:30pm. Gym is very small with some dumbbells and 3 treadmills. Overall an ok experience not great

The hotel is an attractive building in beautiful grounds away from it all. The amenities were great. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful but they seemed unable to get our rooms cleaned. We stayed 4 nights and asked 3 times but never got either of our two rooms serviced by the cleaners. Breakfast was good value, but service was mixed, dinner was only average but the service was excellent. We ate town after this. They were very busy and I don’t think they had enough staff on - they certainly need more cleaners and a bit more oversight/management.

Disappointment at the Spa

​*Be careful if you intend to use your massage therapy insurance at the Spa at the Hôtel Montfort in Nicolet.
​If you plan to get your massages reimbursed via TELUS Health (e.g., Canada Life) at the Spa at the Hôtel Montfort in Nicolet, be aware that the massage therapists on-site are not all registered. I had to pay the entire bill, which was significantly more expensive than elsewhere.
​The most deplorable part remains the customer service: despite several attempts on my part over 2 years (including a three-way call with my insurer to guide them), no follow-up was done and management never called me back. A great lack of consideration for the clientele.
