A Vancouver gem!

Wonderful hotel in a nice, leafy suburb of Vancouver, very close to Capilano Bridge Park. Great value-for-money. Check-in was quick and friendly - we were all given a fresh, warm cookie! Room was clean and very comfortable. Great coffee shop with incredible pastries in reception area. Great atmosphere throughout hotel. Lots of easy, free parking.

The perfect family getaway

My family of 4 just stayed at the newly renovated DoubleTree and we had the best stay! The lobby was beautiful with plenty of seating to lounge in and BjornBar Bakery inside was a nice bonus for a treat! The room we stayed in was so spacious, clean and beautiful. My kids enjoyed hours at the pool and the sauna was great too. Service was great and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly!

Better than staying downtown!

Love love loved our time here!! The property is small but so beautiful. The team is professional and shine with Hilton pride! The rooms were just as expected and although we didn’t have a “view” it didn’t matter to us. I am so happy they have food options on site. It made coffee a breeze and late night drinks accessible. The bakery was my personal favorite! I highly recommended the “Old school” sandwich!
I am so glad we choose to stay on the North Vancouver side. Not only did we save money but it was so much calmer. We did make our way over to downtown by using the Sea Bus which was only 10 minutes from the hotel. I also loved visiting the Ship Yard area Instead of making a trek over to Granville Island (a local recommended we do that)
This has nothing to do with the hotel but it’s important to note that if you stay here but make all your plans across the bridge, plan to add 20-30 minutes at high traffic times. It is just so concentrated and very few lanes to navigate thru. We learned this the hard way and barely made it to an excursion we booked at Granville Island
We would recommended staying here over downtown, to anyone! I mean, who doesn’t love a free warm cookie when you need a sweet treat! Ha!

Fabulous Vibes

This hotel was so cute! The lobby is amazing, the rooms are very cozy, and it’s in a great location. I love all the plants as well

The Hotel took massive advantage of early bookers for the Fifa Worldcup, honestly a rip off compared to their regular rates! In the evening the room had not been serviced and the front desk employee reacted very poorly to my request to still service the room which was reluctantly done.
