The staff is helpful room is clean. However I was up all night because they use very thick duvet for the summer, which doesn’t make sense. So pissed off since it rally affected my vacation plans due to the loss of a whole night’s sleep!

Great location! We found Ottawa to be very walkable from the Alt Hotel. Their bar and bartenders is excellent, and we enjoyed a few rounds of pool as well. I would stay here again.

This is a great place to stay in downtown Ottawa. It is conveniently located in easy walking distance to Parliament Hill, the National Gallery and the Market. Our room was clean and functional, with decent lighting by hotel standards, good WiFi, and a comfortable chair. There was a Nespresso machine in the room and on demand they can provide a kettle and tea bags.
The only downside is the off-site parking. It's a bit of a hike and the parking spaces are quite narrow with a concrete pillar one one side.
Overall, a nice place at a reasonable price.

Was expecting just your same basic hotel but Alt Hotel was surprisingly modern and fun. Bar was open in the evening. People were hanging out having drinks and coffee and playing pool. Will be back for sure. Staff was nice and helpful and beds were very comfortable.
