Nice place. Very spacious room, full balcony. Close to everything, parking, clean rooms. No carpeting. Daily maid service.

Staff was nice. Great location big room, small bathroom but it was ok. I called in the morning asking for later checking they said 12:30 but I still got a call at 12:15 telling me check out was 12:00, I guess it just wasn’t communicated .
Overall it was a a pleasant stay. I’d stay there again.

Not clean enough, the first room we were given was very dusty. The shower was powerful but needed a refresh of sealant / grout around the tiles and the between the tiles and shower tray. The fridge in the little kitchenette clearly needed servicing as it was making a loud noise all night. On a positive note the staff were very helpful and the location was convenient around 15 / 20 mins walk to the parliament complex and central attractions and just off all the restraurants on Elgin Street.

Rooms were spacious and included kitchenettes. Location was a block away from Elgin St. where there are many eateries as well as close to Parliament Hill and Byward Market. Quiet location.

We made these reservations well in advance and made sure to confirm that we would have a shower bench for my partner who is a wheelchair user to access.
We checked in which was a great experience, the young guy at the front was very helpful and gave us an early check in so I would give more stars for that specifically.
We get up to our room and find out my partner can’t actually get into the bathroom as there is a barn door that doesn’t open wide enough for him. We were told all of the rooms have this layout and there is only one accessible room available of the 2 total in the hotel. We were later told by a manager that there are in fact other layouts with regular doors. So basically they plan to upgrade the person who had this studio into our larger suite while we get downgraded without reasonable compensation.
It’s too late to make other arrangements so we are stuck in a small, dark studio instead of the suite we had booked and paid for. They are offering us $20 compensation in the form of waiving our parking as we don’t want to miss out on our third party rewards nor spend more time on the phone with hotels.com trying to cancel just to save the minimal amount by booking with the hotel directly.
In the end our room was forgotten about and not cleaned which left us chasing them around for what we needed.
We will not stay here again which is unfortunate as the location is great.
