What a view!

We were fortunate enough to have the corner room on the second floor and so had a perfect view of the park across the street and the Rocher de Percé and Île Bonaventure across the water. Wonderful. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Definitely worth the stay.

Not worth it!

This was nothing like what the website showed. The room was tiny seriously tiny , you could hardly walk around the bed. There were steps galore to get to your room and none of them overly safe. My husband hit his head as the ceilings were so low. We asked to switch rooms immediately after seeing ours and they wanted another $180 which we were not paying. The hallway had a pungent perfume smell, very sickening. The cleaning ladies left the outside door open unattended for hours (this did help the smell, some). We closed it around 10pm for safety concerns. Lastly we booked what was supposed to be a renovated from and it had peeling paint on windowsill and wall, shower area was not new, etc. I want the truth when booking so I can make informed decisions. This place was definitely not worth the money charged, no breakfast or other amenities to make the room so expensive. We would not stay again as there are many options in the area.

Very hard bed

This is our second visit to this hotel. The first was just after 9/11. Our room was on the ground floor on the end. Yes, we could see the seashore. But the road outside our window was closer. Though, the noise during the night was very low. I would love to ban motorcycles at anytime.
The bed was very hard and my joints suffered badly.
On Monday morning the garbage is picked up from five bins lined up outside our window for the task. Time 7.00 am. Very noisy.
There are ten steep steps up to the office. There is a "ramp". I would not like to be the one to push a wheelchair up it, or in the wheelchair coming down it. The restaurant is next to the office.

The restaurant had a lovely and relaxing ambiance with soft non-intrusive music. We very much appreciated the service!
The ingrediants were fresh... for two people, full course meal, be prepared to pay between $100 - $200.

A rip off, stay almost anywhere else

The room didn’t seem to bad until it shook when people next door closed a door or moved around.
Free breakfast….. at check in they gave us a paper with plastic wrapped stale croissant and piece of banana bread. Might be centrally located with a view of percé rock through the electric pole wires. At 250 a night, even at the high season, stay away, very disappointed.
The only half decent thing was a large 75” TV, with a total of 20 channels, 2 in English
The remote control AC unit didn’t work either
