Wonderful View; Comfortable, Clean & Quiet; Solid Restaurant

Excellent experience at the Highliner. Great staff, great location. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and had a great view! The balcony was a huge bonus. Got an excellent sleep. The restaurant downstairs had some really good food, both dinner and breakfast options - there was either a free continental breakfast, or a discounted hot breakfast restaurant-style sit down option. Parking is on the street, but there were more than enough spots. Would for sure stay here again next time I'm in Prince Rupert.

The room was acceptably clean, although the balcony had not been cleaned or the glass to the balcony. The front of the building was hard to distinguish where the entrance was, and the side of the building has been abused. Parking was very limited at best. Service in the restaurant was good as well as the food.

Dirty.

Shabby exterior, lobby and elevator. Room has been renovated but hair found in the bed, bathroom. Garbage bag and dirty dishes left in the hall for whole day. We were overcharged, but they did adjust when brought to their attention. Contental breakfast offered few choices, no yogurt.

The room was large, clean with the basic amenities. The desk staff were polite and courteous.
No air conditioning.
The first night there was a disturbance in the room above. Police and ambulance on scene for about 4 hours.
I believe this hotel has low income housing rooms sponsored by the government.
It’s getting pricy for what you get.
Parking is street only.

Tired hotel in a bad area, extremely noisy

Staff quality is mixed - the breakfast staff was great (the breakfast wasn't bad either) but check in was chaotic. The room was tired with clanking plumbing, uncontrollable room temperature and sporadic hot water. Finally, if there is a nice part of Prince Rupert, this hotel certainly isn't in it - filthy, unsafe and very noisy. I won't stay there again. Caveat emptor.
