This place was great. Possibly the best breakfast i've ever had at a hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, and well designed rooms with comfortable beds and chairs.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. When we had a problem at night, the manager of the hotel came from his house to help us. On the day Argentina won against England, knowing I’m Argentinean, he sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolates! I recommend this hotel all the way!

Perfect location and great service

THe hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station. With shops and restaurants close by - it is an easy flat walk to the funicular. The front desk staff is very attentive and helpful. The continental breakfast arrives at your room every morning. There is also a gym. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Hotel des Coutellier to anyone - it made the perfect base camp to explore the city.

Lovely Hotel in Québec City Hotel des Coutellier

This is a beautiful old world hotel with lovely rooms and my bed was so comfy.
I loved the breakfast that is in an insulated bag outside your door.
The fabulous restaurant Legende is beside the hotel.
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Quebec city

The hotel is located close to the main points of interest in Old Quebec. The room is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need and more.
