Absolutely AMAZING !

My Mom and I have been to Rawdon in the past but stayed in other places. This time we stayed for 3 days here and I honestly cannot say enough about this beautiful inn. Let me begin with the owners whom are two of the nicest, most welcoming individuals I've ever met. The conversations we shared were uplifting, interesting and completely enjoyable. I was hesitant to stay at a bed and breakfast because I thought I would be uncomfortable being in someone's home. I couldn't have been more wrong ! The decor, the grounds, the music being played, the common room, the food and the company were outstanding ! The rooms are quaint and decorated very nicely. The beds were SO comfortable. If you want to stay at a place where you will truly relax, eat deliciously cooked meals, and be able to just disconnect for a while and ENJOY LIFE,I highly recommend booking a room here !! You won't regret it. As we were driving back home to New York,we were discussing our plans to come back next summer ! Do yourselves a favor and stay here. This is not just a "hotel" it is an experience !! It was beautiful, relaxing vacation and we made incredible memories.

Right price, in the right place

Beautiful location with good views from the breakfast room Breakfast was good ... fruit, eggs, choice of bacon, ham, or cheese, potatoes, yoghurt Owned by a friendly family Bed seemed uncomfortable at first but we both slept surprisingly well
Decor ... our room was lime green and purple. Fortunately we did not need to spend any time in the room except at night ... Mould in the bathroom Loud fan in bathroom Industrial soap in the shower ... OK at work but not expected in a B&B! Bed was not made for our second night Mattress on bed was softer than we would expect ... not sure when it was last changed. This place comes across as a work in progress. Improvements are definitely needed to bring it up to 3 star standard

Welcoming - unique property in the woods of Quebec

Candidly we were just looking for a place to stay for one night in the Rawdon area, about 1.5 hours due north of Montreal, and there were few options, so we took a shot at what looked like a hunting lodge - winter recreational spot.
What we found was a clean, well managed B&B Lodge well off the beaten track about 5 kilometers outside of the small Quebec town of Rawdon, being managed by a young couple, totally committed to making our stay comfortable, topped off with a breakfast menu full of of terrific french choices.
Consider this a great stop for getaways and the opportunity to meet other's in an informal setting with a great view. On a clear day you can see all the way to Montreal, about 150 Kilometers away.

unhealthy moldy dusty room

we stayed in a room with no light, mold in the carpets and dust that was so heavy we couldn't breathe. the owners clearly did not take good care of the place as all the carpets in the basement, where the rooms are, are musty and old and smell. don't stay here or you may end up with a terrible experience!!
we actually left after the first night for another hotel. our experience was terrible and we have never been in such an awful room in quebec!!!

To "Rronaldsmith",
We don't seem to have welcomed a customer by this name in october???
Cleanness as well as service are of our most important concerns. Most of our rooms have been renovated with local ceddar wood; it smells good and is terribly clean.
