Excellent location

100 meters from a long walk, near the Parc du Bic and the maritime museum of Pointe-au-Père with Anaconda submarine on site. Even more interesting to visit in summer

Not up to par...

Frankly: we are bordering on false advertising. There is no spa included in the hotel (it is a few dozen meters away on the other side of the road, granted, but not at all in the displayed price... and besides, very expensive in itself). The restaurant was closed in the morning, so no way to have (break)fast.
And the other advertised services are ridiculous for a 4-star hotel (I will spare you the photo of the gym, worthy of a storage closet with a few weights and a bike)...
And in the rooms (quite poorly laid out), the fridge was noisy and worked poorly, there is a coffee machine but no cups, only one nightstand for 2 double beds, the light is poorly positioned, etc...
I saw a few comments about the view: you should know that the room we had overlooked a parking lot... We hadn't been promised anything regarding that, but in any case, some rooms overlook nothing.
Are they cheaper? We have no idea, but we were charged $320 a night...
And by the way, last point, after having mistakenly charged us $640 too much... which they can only refund us 8 days later: taken on July 17... announced wrongly as the 19th and for now only announced as refundable starting from the 25th... yet the error was in no way our doing. An apology and an immediate refund would have been appreciated; this demonstrates the lack of professionalism of the managers of this so unreliable hotel.
In short. Unworthy of the price and incomprehensible to see 4 stars there. We almost felt sorry for the reception staff, who were friendly.

Not what we booked...

Didn't get the requested rooms. We had requested 2 connecting rooms, we are on two different floors. We have to go through the restaurant to get access to our room. Really not to their business at the reception. Too bad. Clean and large rooms.

Good staff bad rooms

We came here unexpectedly because of a snow storm the staff was kind with us and helped us so on service side everything went good but when we got in the rooms stuff started to go bad, first the room 111 tv is broken sound is cutting off now and then, then they moved us to room 108, where the bathroom door is… TRANSPARENT???? Like we are a family we would like to have a privacy when we take a shower oh and talking about shower just finished my shower while writing this review and honestly not bad until the shower head just burst, WATER EVERYWHERE I had to soak out the rest of my soap away while water was going crazy but anyways staff was kind so that’s a star, food and room services was also good the restaurant Pacini was good, spa and gym sucks was hoping for a cool spa not a traditional spa we have outside in our backyard, anyways for an unexpected trip here we still had one of the best client service we had in this region of quebec

Desired improvement

Nice location. Noisy staff during the morning maintenance of which at 07:30..L room maintenance leaves to be desired. The place is good but needs some improvements that inform the staff of the maintenance.
